It was really good until the classic third-act misunderstanding that gets dragged out an agonizingly long amount of time. It almost gets resolved 5 different times, each of which are interrupted by some random event of bad luck, and since it happens in a row it’s really obvious.
This arc is dragged out so much that you can cut out about 20+ chapters during it and it still seamlessly connects with the resolution because nothing important even happens. It’s also because of this arc the story veers away from the actual premise of the story. Looking at other comments in Korean about this work, many of them are about how painfully idiotic the MC is. He literally is confessed to multiple times, is kissed and decides to take it as a prank, or that it’s somehow something a hyung would do? This guy isn’t just clueless, he is wilfully ignorant even when it’s causing immense suffering.
These guys could have been dating around chapter 60 if he wasn’t denying extremely obvious advances.
