“That’s why I accepted your feedback and generously extended it by a whole 30 minutes. I also adjusted the hint difficulty to be easier. They were going to find everything anyway, you know?”
“Right, you’re so great.”
“That’s right, I’m great… well, not that, but the important thing isn’t the four rhythm cards, it’s the content those two produced during that process.”
Well, Isoo-ssi seemed to have caught on to that and didn’t look too anxious… In any case, thinking that the two ridiculously handsome men with their wrists tied together had produced solid content was satisfying enough, PD Woo Jiyeon took a sip of strawberry Chum Churum. She hadn’t even glanced at it when it was trending, but a few days ago, curiosity had struck after watching Kwon Isoo down two glasses of strawberry Chum Churum, so she’d gone out and bought it herself.
“Ugh.”
However, before she could even swallow a single sip, her face crumpled like paper. What the hell does this even taste like?

Woo Jiyeon, who’d flinched and withdrawn her hand, asked:

The restaurant where they’d had that three-way meeting with Hayun. She had no idea how many precarious moments there were in that footage. Starting from ignoring his direct senior’s greeting and entering first, to the territorial seating battle, the “Why would you buy me a meal, sunbae-nim?” comment, to storming out and leaving the table mid-meal… There were just too many to even list.
That ice-thin atmosphere was transmitted even through the camera.
Seo Hyoin furrowed her brow as if she couldn’t understand no matter how much she thought about it.
“Why did he act especially more crooked there? Picking fights with a senior he was meeting for the first time. Was his pride hurt by the manager experience or something?”
“Well… it should be fine? Kwon Isoo-ssi already has that ‘sensitive and cold genius producer’ image, so most things don’t even become controversies. Plus, we cut out the really bad stuff. Snip snip.”
Watching PD Woo playfully mime scissors, Seo Hyoin’s expression soured.
“There wasn’t just one or two bad things. Honestly, to my eyes, there’s still tons to cut out even now.”
“Oh dear. Our Hyoin still doesn’t know the world. People usually like consistent assholes more than vaguely~nice people. Even in dramas, pragmatically cynical characters are the trend these days, not angelic pushovers.”
Especially if they’re in the protagonist position, even better. At Woo Jiyeon’s words, Seo Hyoin asked incredulously:
“Are you saying Kwon Isoo-ssi is an asshole now?”
“That’s not what I meant, but…”

Since it’ll go up as a prologue episode rather than the main series, it should be okay to go a bit unique…
After mulling it over, Woo Jiyeon came up with a clever trick.
The purpose of the manager experience was ‘to closely understand each other’s daily lives living as different groups.’ She tried changing the directing method uniquely while keeping that purpose alive.
This should prevent any problems.
Thanks to that, she was working overtime daily with the editing team to overturn the rough edit that had gone through two rounds already… Fiddling with the dark circles that had descended below her eyes, the PD grumbled:
“You have no idea how much I’m busting my ass trying to salvage that icy atmosphere… I wonder if Kwon Isoo-ssi will appreciate my blood-like efforts.”
“Whether it’s a clever trick or a cheap trick, will people easily accept something so forcibly fabricated?”
Haah, our Hyoin really doesn’t get it. Woo Jiyeon shook her head.
