Double Shot 29

Being born into a family with wealth, power, and fame was both a blessing and a curse. It had been that way from the moment of birth. Due to his parents’ car accident while being chased by paparazzi, he was born earlier than his due date and had to be placed in an incubator.

In his childhood memories, there were always those tiresome paparazzi. Outings surrounded by bodyguards weren’t particularly enjoyable. His eyes hurt from the countless camera flashes, and there were disturbances big and small.

He burrowed into his parents’ arms, hating the people who shouted as if trying to get his attention. He never had the chance to freely play with friends. Even on the way to and from elementary school, they persistently followed him, so despite everyone’s protests, Leo entered a boarding school for middle and high school. He thought that while inside the school, paparazzi and reporters wouldn’t be able to come near.

The attempted kidnapping that occurred at the school he considered safe left an indelible scar on Leo’s neck.

As a series of incidents continued, he had to build his physical strength and learn combat not for health or hobbies, but for survival reasons—to protect his own body. A single word or action would naturally create controversy, so he gradually became less talkative.

Naturally, he sought out quiet, secluded places rather than crowded ones, and the only things he could do comfortably were hunting, fishing, and camping on mountains or fields owned by his family.

At least in Korea, where there was less attention from paparazzi and people, he could enjoy various things. Since his face wasn’t officially known and he completed his studies in England, no one recognized him when he went around alone in Korea.

Then at age twenty, the biggest event of his life occurred. He suddenly disappeared and was found having lost his memory.

In that incident, he lost his wallet, his mobile phone, and even the luxury watch his parents had bought him as a college entrance gift. Everyone considered it fortunate that aside from a small wound on his head, there were no external or internal injuries.

At first, he tried to recover his lost memories, but as time passed, it all became something of the past.

But.

Leo examined Hyedam’s face one detail at a time as he slept in his arms. Leo’s fingertips touched his eyes, reddened from crying. Whether his touch clumsily woke him, when Hyedam stirred and his smooth skin brushed against his body, a low sigh flowed from Leo’s mouth.

He wanted to devour him again and again. The appetite and lust that had stirred the moment he first saw him—he thought they would subside after tasting him once, but all of that was his miscalculation.

In the dimly entering light, he could see Hyedam’s face better. Why is he really this ugly? It’s driving me crazy.

He looked at the tightly closed eyes and touched the long eyelashes with his fingertips. A smile spread across Leo’s lips at the soft eyelashes. His fingertips settled on the round tip of his nose, and he wanted to touch the lips that were relaxed and comfortable in deep sleep, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

It was because he had no confidence he could stop if he indulged in those lips that were redder and plumper than usual from continued stimulation.

Hyedam disheveled in his arms on the deep blue bedding. The moans lingering in his ears and the sight of him crying in pleasure while fully taking him in.

It’s the first time, yet it doesn’t feel like the first time; an unfamiliar place doesn’t feel unfamiliar. When he suddenly sat him on top as he tried to run away saying he’d die at this rate, his back that arched like a bow and his upper body that swayed gracefully…

On the narrow bed, thinking it was most ideal for the two of them to sleep, he had placed Hyedam on top of his body to put him to sleep. Just imagining this situation made his body react automatically, so Leo rubbed his face dry to suppress himself.

Every time he asked, Hyedam said no. If that’s the case, he won’t be able to hear answers about the things in his head by borrowing his mouth.

What if he had been with Hyedam during the time he lost?

Wrinkles formed between Leo’s brows as he traced his memories. The place where he was found was in the middle of a town near here. Around that time, he had been deeply immersed in Oriental atmosphere and was traveling around remote mountain areas.

Unknown small hermitages or places said to have good mountain energy. Or he had tried to find places that were so unknown. So it wasn’t particularly strange that he was found in a remote mountain town.

He had no memory of what came before. A familiar black car stopped in front and Robert appeared. He hugged him with joy as he approached with a bright smile, and Robert patted his back as always.

He said it was a relief to have found him, and that they should hurry back since his parents were worried. When he opened the car door, he got in.

Why are you here? How did you get here? And where’s your bag? None of it came to mind despite the rapid succession of questions. He just wanted to eat bread.

And since he always liked bread, he didn’t think much of even that.

But if Hyedam was there during the time he lost, the bread that captivated him wouldn’t be pure bread but Hyedam. From some point on, he never thought any bread tasted good. He just liked the scent of bread.

The first time he felt bread was delicious again was… the bagel Hyedam baked for him.

When Hyedam stirred, Leo pulled the blanket to cover his back thoroughly and patted his back again, darkness filling his eyes. It wasn’t something to ask him about, but a problem he had to solve himself.

As soon as he returned, he would search for necessary information centered on this neighborhood and town… A groaning sound flowed from Leo’s mouth again as he tried to organize his thoughts.

Can’t he just sleep quietly? He was trying hard to endure, but if he kept moving and stimulating him like this, the instinctive reaction was unavoidable.

Whether he was uncomfortable, Hyedam stirred slightly and even sighed softly, so Leo gently swept back his disheveled hair.

Whether he found it bothersome, a weak hand tried to brush his hand away, so Leo was about to easily withdraw when a laugh burst out at Hyedam’s hesitant movement. There were many good points about being stuck together like this. Because he could feel even these minute movements and emotional changes directly on his skin.

“I didn’t mean to wake you…”

It was a sincere apology, but it seemed not to be received that way by the other person. Just as the expression suggested, he could practically hear Hyedam’s brain working in the short time it took to grasp the situation and find a solution. Thinking of his personality, it seemed like he would somehow try to pull away, but Hyedam, who had been moving as if trying to minimize contact between them, quickly inhaled and became docile.

“Why?”

“…Uh. I… ahem.”

What if I like even his low, sleepy, yet cracked voice? If he didn’t know anything, he would have been worried, but knowing the reason and because he was the one who made him that way, Leo’s lips that rose in a good mood wouldn’t come down.

“Do something about this…”

“…You know that’s not something I can control.”

“If you had any conscience!”

Hyedam, who always tried to keep things formal and distant but was now speaking comfortably, raised his head abruptly to protest, and Leo rolled his body to place him beneath him.

“I don’t have that.”

He had endured a lot, and thought he could endure more. But it seemed he didn’t have any patience after all.

Having finished showering, Hyedam was tapping his aching lower back while looking for a towel when he froze. Then he stared blankly at his reflection in the bathroom mirror. Human skin color is originally white. Not white, but peach. Depending on race or what one is born with, it could be brown or black.

Born as an Asian, his skin, which could be described as slightly tan from the standard skin tone, had transformed into red.

To be precise, should he call it spots full of red marks? Not to mention his chest or between his legs, where even the slightest touch of the shower ball caused stinging pain. Even so, it wasn’t this bad last time.

As expected, a complete lunatic. What was he supposed to do about someone who couldn’t fucking listen no matter how many times he said it was hard, that it was enough? Since he was also at fault for not firmly pushing him away and panting while falling into the pleasure he gave, Hyedam couldn’t fully resent him, and a sigh full of regret and lamentation flowed from his mouth.

He said he was crazy with instinct, but what was he supposed to do about it? Moreover, since he was the one who put his lips there first, he couldn’t pin the blame on him either.

Since he couldn’t hide in the bathroom forever, Hyedam hesitantly put on his clothes and came out, licking his lips at the delicious smell filling the house.

At least he’s not a complete idiot. Mixed feelings crossed his mind at the sight of Leo, who had set the table with the retort food available. While he had dark circles down to his knees, this bastard looked even better than yesterday.

“I’ll… ahem. I’ll eat well.”

Only after clearing his throat and drinking water could Hyedam make proper human sounds. Though it sounded like what he’d make when dying from a severe flu. Instead of going straight to the dining table, Hyedam entered the room and checked his mobile phone first.

When will Robert come? He said he’d come in the morning. But what did I do that it’s already 11 AM… What did I do? I didn’t even notice time passing while getting stuck together and eaten again.

Falling into self-loathing while looking at the current time was brief as Hyedam quickly looked toward the doorway at a thud sound that wasn’t familiar but he’d heard before.
