“Just a moment.”
Seunggeon bit his ear with the lips that had been touching his nape. And when his fingertips gripped his chest and pressed his areola, Chaehun trembled finely. Without realizing it, he ended up tightly clenching around Seunggeon’s member still inside him. For afterplay, it was a moment where he wanted to be oblivious to what the explicit caresses meant.
He didn’t know what the reason was, but it seemed Seunggeon had truly made up his mind.
“If you’re going to continue, go to the bed.”
“The bed?”
“I have no strength in my legs.”
Chaehun was embarrassed, but he told the truth. If Seunggeon weren’t holding him, he would have collapsed limply. Seunggeon, who had been licking and sucking his shoulder, laughed silently, and he could feel it through his entire body. At the same time, Seunggeon’s member inside him seemed to twitch and grow.
“I’ll catch you if you fall.”
“You’re already catching me.”
“Exactly.”
Seunggeon’s voice carried laughter. Chaehun gave up trying to escape from Seunggeon, who pressed even closer.
Fine… do as you please.

The sex continued while standing in that spot. Only after Chaehun’s legs had completely given out and he staggered did they move to the bed. After mixing their bodies thoroughly one more time, Seunggeon finally pulled away only when the exhausted and collapsed Chaehun growled that he couldn’t do any more.
Instead of falling asleep right there, Chaehun barely managed to move his body toward the bathroom. After quickly finishing his second shower, Chaehun put on his clothes before Seunggeon could catch him again. Each time he put his legs through his pants and slipped his arms into his shirt, his body creaked and trembled, but he could still manage for now.
Having put on everything including his coat, Chaehun stood at the door waiting for Seunggeon to come out of the bathroom.
Seunggeon, who emerged from the bathroom shaking his not-quite-dry hair, was wearing different pajamas from before. The deep wine color also suited him well. His taste was still luxurious. And his sex style was quite perverted. A perverted one with overflowing stamina at that.
“You’re already fully dressed?”
“Yeah.”
Chaehun answered indifferently. The overworked place throbbed, so he couldn’t smile.
“That’s fast.”
“I’m leaving.”
“Wait a moment. I have something to give you.”
Chaehun, who had been about to turn around after saying goodbye, paused. Something to give? What?
“What is it?”
“This.”
Seunggeon took out a white envelope from the nightstand beside the bed and held it out. Taking the envelope, Chaehun roughly guessed what was inside from the hard sensation at his fingertips. When he opened the envelope and pulled out the contents, a credit card emerged.
“Why this?”
“Including the final investment money, it was all 1.84 billion won, and the remaining 160 million won was deposited into your account.”
“…?!”
“Not your salary account, but your K Bank account. It was deposited under three people’s names at 50 million won each, so don’t worry about the National Tax Service.”
Chaehun was dumbfounded. The scammed investment money had already all been repaid. The reason it had taken over two months was because the last investor wanted interest for the waiting period along with consolation money. Fortunately, with a lawyer’s help, it was wrapped up well.
As Seunggeon said, if 1.84 billion won was used to repay the investment money, 160 million won would remain. If 160 million won suddenly landed in his salary account, the National Tax Service might become suspicious. Dispersing deposits into other accounts was wise.
However, Chaehun hadn’t been thinking he would receive the remaining money.
“You don’t have to give me that.”
“We contracted for 2 billion.”
“Then what’s this?”
Chaehun waved the credit card in his hand. He could understand the 160 million won, but what was this?
“I’m giving it to you.”
“…?”
“Apparently, people usually give cards. Use it while you’re seeing me.”
Seunggeon’s voice telling him to use it was nonchalant. But Chaehun felt humiliated and hardened his expression. He was already meeting Seunggeon in exchange for 2 billion won. Still, that at least had a pretext. The credit card felt like evidence that he was truly selling his body, and his mood sank.
What felt worse was that Seunggeon held out the credit card without any thought.
“I don’t need it, so I’ll return it.”
Instead of throwing the credit card in Seunggeon’s face, Chaehun lightly placed it on the bed. But Seunggeon picked up the credit card again and held it out.
“Take it.”
“I said it’s fine. You said you deposited 160 million won. I can use that.”
“You think that money will last?”
“What?”
“You still have debt remaining.”
At Seunggeon’s cold words, Chaehun couldn’t find words to refute. It felt exactly like being hit to the bone—Seunggeon had properly pinpointed the core.
He’d blocked what was immediately urgent, but the bank loan remained intact. Since it was borrowed with the shop and family home as collateral, there was still time, but there was no cash to use right away. If there was an accident or something and a large sum of money was needed, in the end Chaehun would have no choice but to put out the money.
Still, how to spend the money was Chaehun’s choice. It wasn’t for Seunggeon to interfere.
“I’ll handle that myself. I don’t need this.”
“Buy a wristwatch first. I don’t like seeing you check the time on your phone every time.”
“Hey. Choi Seunggeon.”
It was advice that wasn’t advice, completely grating on one’s nerves. Chaehun called Seunggeon’s name with a warning tone. Chaehun also liked nice wristwatches. However, he didn’t think he absolutely had to wear a nice wristwatch. But Seunggeon was forcing it.
“I know you have a metal allergy. There are watches that don’t cause allergies, so buy one of those.”
Chaehun frowned. It was true that he couldn’t wear watches because of a metal allergy. In high school, he’d received a birthday gift and suffered from a rash. He was surprised that Seunggeon remembered that.
But the way he recommended it was bad. It wasn’t a recommendation or even pressure—it was an outright command. And yet Seunggeon seemed unaware of what he was doing wrong.
“I said I don’t need it.”
“Take everything I give you.”
“What does that mean?”
“Whether you use it or not is up to you. If you really hate it, throw it away.”
Chaehun glared at Seunggeon holding out the credit card. But Seunggeon didn’t seem to have any intention of backing down.
It wasn’t an illegal or immoral request. If someone shoved a credit card at you and told you to use it as you pleased, everyone would be happy. The problem for Chaehun was just that the someone was Seunggeon.
His pride was hurt. And he was upset and irritated at Seunggeon, who unilaterally pushed ahead without knowing that. If he’d at least spoken nicely, maybe it would be different, but the guy’s way of speaking was stabbing invisible knives deep into people’s hearts.
That said, he couldn’t refuse out of pride. That too would be a blow to his pride.
Caught in self-contradiction, Chaehun stopped the staring contest and took the credit card from Seunggeon. And right in front of Seunggeon, he snapped the credit card in half. He crumpled it once more to destroy the IC chip.
Watching Seunggeon’s face show surprise then soon harden, Chaehun tasted the feeling of being the victor.
“That’s enough, right? I received it and did what I wanted with it. Then, I’m leaving now. You don’t need to see me out.”
Chaehun, who put the crumpled credit card in his coat pocket, said only what he needed to say and turned around. Seunggeon neither called out to him nor stopped him.
Chaehun, who had been holding back his anger until he put on his shoes and left through the front door, clenched his fist and let out a deep sigh as soon as the door closed behind him and clicked locked. Irritation surged to the top of his head, but he couldn’t yell because it was late at night.
“Crazy bastard.”
Chaehun hissed. It had been just this afternoon that he’d thought he could spend a year without much friction with Seunggeon. But before even a full day had passed, they’d fought with teeth bared.
Giving 2 billion won would have been enough—why give a credit card too?
What made him angriest and most upset was that Seunggeon didn’t know what he’d done wrong. He’d commanded as if it were natural for Chaehun to take his card and buy a watch.
He was aware that he’d acted recklessly without thinking ahead. Still, crumpling up the credit card right in front of the guy had been truly satisfying. It was Seunggeon who said he didn’t need to cater to his tastes, and Seunggeon who said to do whatever he wanted with the credit card. It was childish, but he didn’t regret it.
