“Yes, hyung.”

“The face I least want to see right now is our Young Master’s.”

“Ah.”

“If I lay eyes on that guy, I think I’ll reflexively throw a punch. So let’s not talk about the Young Master anymore. Alright?”

Gu Jongyeol smiled pleasantly, but the voice that came with it was ominous enough that Yeo Mujin let out a deep sigh.

“From the looks of it, Yeonkyu caused another scene.”

“When has that crazy bastard ever not.”

Yeo Mujin smiled bitterly. Gu Jongyeol drained his glass, poured another generous round, and looked at Yeo Mujin sitting across from him.

“Mujin. Why exactly do you hang around our Young Master? What could you possibly get out of that lunatic? If I were in your shoes, I’d have cut ties with him long ago.”

Yeo Mujin laughed. Gu Jongyeol clicked his tongue and muttered,

“The only things worth looking at are that clean face of his and his cock. But he sticks it into anyone at any time without a second thought — hardly makes you want it. Anyway. The omegas around the Young Master aren’t exactly sane either.”

In the middle of his grumbling, Gu Jongyeol suddenly noticed the man in front of him had gone completely quiet, and he glanced up.

What’s with him?

The dark-haired young man looked like something Gu Jongyeol had said didn’t sit well with him at all. His face had gone stiff — cold, even — and he didn’t look anything like the kind, naïve Yeo Mujin Gu Jongyeol knew.

Did talking badly about his friend put him in a bad mood? Deciding there was no need to get on the bad side of Yeo Mujin — who might become a new colleague — Gu Jongyeol shifted the topic with a “Anyway.”

“Is that the contract?”

Fortunately, there was some kind of file in front of Gu Jongyeol, and according to Yeo Mujin, it was something along the lines of an employment contract and job transfer agreement. When Gu Jongyeol asked, Yeo Mujin let out a quiet sound of surprise and smiled faintly.

“You’re transferring to the company right next door — and you still want to put it in writing?”

Gu Jongyeol looked at Yeo Mujin, who had returned to his usual self, and sighed.

“Mujin. Listen. I’m saying this because I genuinely worry about you — living in this world that naively is going to get you into serious trouble.”

“Haha.”

“What do you mean, haha. There are so many rotten people out there — what if I just run my mouth and don’t follow through?”

“Hyung…… wouldn’t do that.”

Obviously.

Gu Jongyeol’s body was made half of blood and half of loyalty. He was not the kind of small-minded person who made promises and then stabbed you in the back.

“There’s always that one-in-ten-thousand chance.”

Gu Jongyeol clicked his tongue. Then he stared at the file Yeo Mujin had handed over and said,

“And putting it in writing is entirely for after the transfer is done. I’m technically still on leave and haven’t fully resigned yet, and I’m abandoning a perfectly good home I’ve lived in comfortably to go to yours. If I want to hold my head up there without shame, having this kind of formal constraint at least gives my transfer some credibility. Doesn’t it?”

The eloquence of Gu Jongyeol’s entirely reasonable words brought a smile to Yeo Mujin’s lips. Gu Jongyeol sniffed dismissively and extended his hand toward Yeo Mujin.

“If you’re convinced, hand it over. Let’s get this done and get some rest.”

“Yes.”

“Open it to the page. I’m just going to sign and be done with it.”

“You don’t need to read the contract details?”

“Hey, Mujin. Have you forgotten that the thing I hate most in the world is reading? We’re going to be on the same side anyway — I’m signing because I trust you. What’s that look for? Am I not allowed to trust you?”

At Gu Jongyeol’s question, Yeo Mujin smiled and shook his head. See, I knew it. Gu Jongyeol sniffed and flipped through the file marked “Employment Contract,” glancing at the first page before turning straight to the very last.

There was his own name, the name of KK Corporation Apparel Division’s CEO Yeo Daewon, and the name of Yeo Mujin — standing there boldly as the notary, of all things.

Gu Jongyeol confirmed the last page of the contract, which even had CEO Yeo’s personal seal stamped on it, and burst out laughing.

“The fact that you secured the CEO’s seal tells me you genuinely wanted to bring me on board.”

“You’re a capable person, hyung. I had to do whatever it took.”

Our worthless Young Master Kang Yeonkyu has absolutely no idea.

Gu Jongyeol felt the sting of tears as he looked at Yeo Mujin, who had just said something acknowledging his worth, and rummaged through his pocket. His personal seal came into his hand.

Press.

Chairman. You see, I’m just too much of a petty person by nature — I can’t go to Jeju before I’ve seen the face of this “person” you’re bringing in as my replacement.

Gu Jongyeol’s lips twitched as he thought of Kang Hojun, who had pushed a mandatory leave on him. Then he pressed his seal clearly beside his name and looked up.

“I’m counting on you, Mujin.”

Yeo Mujin, who had been quietly looking at the hand Gu Jongyeol held out to him, smiled and took it.

“Yes, hyung. Likewise. We’re practically one now.”

No — to be precise, we’re “in the same boat.”

Gu Jongyeol thought Yeo Mujin’s phrasing was a little odd, but didn’t think much of it.

He didn’t think much of it…… but.

Ugh.

Gu Jongyeol felt a sharp headache and forced his eyelids open.

Where the fuck am I……

An unfamiliar ceiling. Unfamiliar wallpaper. An unfamiliar bed and unfamiliar blankets.

And unfamiliar iron chains and gleaming handcuffs.

Gu Jongyeol, who had absentmindedly tried to move his body, doubted his own eyes.

Handcuffs?

Flustered, Gu Jongyeol looked down at himself.

With a metallic rattling and clinking, the sound of the handcuffs and shackles locked around each of his wrists and ankles — and the long iron chains holding them in place — rang in his ears as they shifted.

[Jongyeol hyung. You’re really far too careless.]

[If I hadn’t helped you, you would have already been taken by Yeonkyu.]

[Hyung. You can’t go anywhere now.]

The voice of someone reached him, and Gu Jongyeol — who had looked down at himself in bewilderment — abruptly shot upright on the bed.

“Why?”

Why am I like this?

It was at the very moment Gu Jongyeol confirmed that he was completely bare — not a stitch of clothing on him — with nothing but handcuffs and shackles clamped around his wrists and ankles.

“Jongyeol hyung. You’re awake? I brought your meal.”

Far away, an iron door swung open, and a man appeared.

Gu Jongyeol, who had been standing on the bed without a single thing on him, snapped his gaze toward the door at the sudden presence. He hadn’t had even a moment to cover himself with anything.

I must look like a complete pervert right now.

Caught completely off guard by the situation, Gu Jongyeol’s face drained to a ghostly white. The man who had been watching him — not just watching, but studying him almost like he was savoring him — then smiled with perfect composure.

“I knew you were awake, but I didn’t expect you to be standing.”

Gazing at the space between Gu Jongyeol’s legs — standing proudly upright in a very “morning” way — Yeo Mujin let his voice go soft with faux shyness.

“Shall I take it out for you?”

  1. The Pervert and the Super Pervert

Fuck!!!!!

Even if a one-ton truck ran straight into his head, it couldn’t be this absurd.

Well, his skull would be in pieces — but at least he wouldn’t be feeling this kind of betrayal.

"Gu — Gu Jongyeol has presented as an omega!"

Gu Jongyeol — former mob member, current employee of the Construction Division at the all-encompassing KK Corporation.

He'd spent his entire life believing he was a beta, so the reality of presenting as an omega at thirty-five years old is nothing short of absurd.

The company may have laundered itself into legitimacy, but its roots are mob — a literal den of lunatics crawling with alphas — and Jongyeol finds himself facing a simultaneous threat to both his safety and his chastity.

He ultimately makes up his mind to quit.

"Then why not transfer to the Clothing Division instead?"

Right on cue, the young master's longtime friend, Yeo Mujin, whom he'd just escorted over, comes to him with an offer to switch departments.

The proposition catches Jongyeol's interest, and in a fit of frustration, he slaps his fingerprint onto the contract —

"Hyung. You can't go anywhere now. Stay with me forever."

He really should have known better than to trust a dark-haired beast.
