It was too ridiculous to get heated over such childish antics, worse than a kid’s prank, so he just frowned.

“It was a mistake.”

It was an absurd excuse. Where in the world was there anyone over thirty who got the direction of a kiss wrong? It was truly childish. But if he got caught up in this, he might not properly achieve today’s objective. Jaeha paid no mind to his opponent’s low-level interference and continued to press their lips together.

Even when he entered his mouth again, Kyungwoo’s cheap resistance continued. No matter how much he wrapped around and sucked his tongue, he didn’t budge at all.

‘So you’re going to keep being like this?’

His mood soured. Jaeha pressed close to him until he was just about to push him down onto the table. He split his legs apart with his knee and rubbed his thigh against him.

“Mmm.”

His pale forehead creased as Kyungwoo let out another moan. His breathing quickened and his complexion reddened slightly. Was he so disgusted that he forgot to breathe? Still, Jaeha had no intention of backing down at all.

Instead, he unbuttoned his jacket with one hand. When he pushed his hand into the narrow gap between the vest and shirt, Kyungwoo’s eyes flew open.

His head twisted and his wet lips pulled away at the same time.

“What the—!”

“Why so surprised?”

Jaeha brought his nose to his clean nape. While doing so, he leisurely stroked his hot back with his hand. The delicate muscles wrapped in the thin silk shirt twitched and spasmed following Jaeha’s touch.

“This is what we met for, isn’t it?”

Jaeha placed his lips where his sharp jaw and earlobe were and sucked lightly. Then Kyungwoo twisted his lips. He froze up each time Jaeha’s lips moved. Then he chewed on his lips that had swollen and moistened from the kiss, before finally covering them with his hand.

His other hand gripped the edge of the table firmly like a lifeline. Jaeha stealthily felt his bare wrist without a watch. He could feel a rapid pulse on the inside of his wrist where tendons lined. And no matter how much Kyungwoo covered his mouth with his hand, it was futile to hide his wet breathing growing ragged. It was clear evidence that he was getting aroused following Jaeha’s touch.

He felt secretly pleased. Even so, Jaeha took his time patiently working on the man who wouldn’t easily disrupt his defensive posture until he surrendered on his own.

With both hands, he rubbed his wrist and back, with his lips, his neck and the area around his ear, and with his legs, the inside of his thighs, warmly. He didn’t rush in like an excited novice, nor did he tease like a devious old man.

Whether it was because of the alcohol they’d drunk in succession, or because of the kiss and caresses that had continued quite stickily, Kyungwoo’s complexion grew increasingly flushed.

“Wait… the briefing… why are you…”

Finally, a restraint came. Jaeha grabbed the wrist trying to push him away and wrapped it around his own side. Then their upper bodies became as close as their lower bodies.

“The actual practice is what’s important anyway. I won’t charge in alone, so follow along appropriately on your own.”

Between sucking with his lips and tickling the tip with his tongue, his earlobe turned bright red. The red heat that started from the soft flesh spread along his ear and eventually to his neck and cheeks.

“You’re cheat— hup.”

Kyungwoo, who had been trying to say something, breathed in deeply enough to make his chest heave. The hand that hadn’t quite been able to grasp Jaeha’s waist finally settled lightly around his back, behind his collarbone.

Taking that as a signal, Jaeha began to remove Kyungwoo’s jacket in earnest. Just by unbuttoning and inserting his hands inside the collar, the jacket easily went over its owner’s shoulders and soon fell down.

*Plop.*

Unlike his arms wrapped in a snow-white dress shirt, his torso—firm yet slenderly built—was tightly cinched with a vest made of the same material as the jacket.

At some point, Administrative Officer Lee or an ex-lover had told him about it. That there was a style of undergarment that clung to reveal the body over a blouse.

‘A corset? Or was it called a bustier?’

It was clearly a piece of formal wear called the armor of modern times, but because Jung Kyungwoo was wearing it, it was maddeningly erotic. The sensation at his fingertips as he unfastened the few buttons was particularly vivid.

When the vest came undone, the lower part of his tie was revealed. He first removed the tie pin fixed in the middle, then swept down from the knot to the end.

“Hah.”

An urgent moan burst out. It might have been because Jaeha’s lips exploring his neck had fumbled upon a particularly sensitive spot, or perhaps some body part that the tie symbolized had overlapped.

Just as Kyungwoo’s hand on his back had been Jaeha’s signal, Jaeha’s hand sweeping down the tie was Kyungwoo’s signal. His attitude, which had been passive as if reluctant or perhaps shy, changed a little.

“Seo Jaeha.”

His voice calling his name was terribly sunken. At the same time, he who had only been retreating backward suddenly began to come forward. The hand that had been cautiously wandering on Jaeha’s back came around to the front and likewise entered between his collar. Unlike Kyungwoo, Jaeha wasn’t wearing a vest, so he could feel the hot palm caressing his shoulders and shoulder blades directly.

His senses suddenly began to run wild as if branded with a hot iron. It was as if a fire had spread in his head. Jaeha removed his own jacket and pulled down his tie. In the meantime, Kyungwoo also tugged at his own tie. As if out of breath, he even undid two shirt buttons.

The moment he saw that long neck like a marble sculpture, Jaeha felt the urge to sink his teeth into that skin. But before he could pounce, Kyungwoo restrained him by sweeping back his hair starting from his forehead with his palm.

“Here?”

Could there be a sexier word in the world than this? He thought he’d mastered quite a lot of dirty talk and pillow talk. At that one indifferent word uttered by the damn annoying bastard before his eyes, Jaeha put a powerful brake on himself. If he budged here, he felt like he’d run wild.

“If you don’t have an opinion, I’ll take care of it myself.”

While saying that, Kyungwoo straightened his body that had been leaning the whole time. Unaware that Jaeha, who had been slightly pushed back, was staring with an intense gaze, he swiftly pulled his tie loose right there and threw it onto the table. Then he removed his cufflinks and placed them next to the tie pin Jaeha had taken off, then surprisingly grabbed Jaeha’s wrist.

“The bedroom is that way.”

The grip on his wrist was full of conviction. Jaeha followed behind, being led by his partner.

In the brief moment heading to the bedroom holding Jaeha’s hand, Kyungwoo’s heart ran wild as if about to burst. His collarbone ached from being pounded by his heart’s rampage. Thanks to the pulse pressing on his wrist, he could vividly feel the presence of his watchband.

His mind was dizzy. During the short distance walk, his knees nearly buckled several times, but he endured by clenching his molars. Each step felt like treading through a deeply sinking quagmire.

“You’re more proactive than I thought.”

The voice heard right behind him rang out distantly like a faint echo. It was because the tension had reached its peak, blocking the blood flow to his ears and dulling his hearing. His brain was boiling and heat rose from his dry throat. In fact, he was a step away from losing consciousness.

“I’m the type who does the most unpleasant thing first.”

“Does someone who says that have a pulse beating this intensely?”

Before he knew it, Jaeha had turned his hand around and was rubbing the area around the artery on the inside of Kyungwoo’s wrist with his thumb. It was just a trivial movement, but strangely his fingertips tingled.

“Is this a situation to relax? If you want me to take it easy, let’s rest for a bit.”

“No. There’s no need for that.”

When they reached near the bed, Jaeha pulled Kyungwoo’s waist again. Already unable to handle the heat and aroused, Kyungwoo quickly lost his balance.

*Plop.*

The tall bed with two thick European-style mattresses stacked in layers comfortably received his falling body. Along with the shadow of a large man looming over it.

“I’ll take the top.”

“Says who?”

Literally translated, Jaeha’s words about “the top” meant he would take the leading role. While it was true that Seo Jaeha had actively led so far, that didn’t mean he could meekly hand over the core part of the relationship.

“Then you’re saying you’ll do it?”

The faint smile that came back with a snort was detestable. To think that the very person who brought about this situation showed such a shameless attitude, not doubting his own masculinity at all, made his blood boil.

“Is there some law against me doing it?”

Whether to gain the upper hand before reaching an agreement, Jaeha pressed down on one of Kyungwoo’s wrists while stealthily lifting the leg that hung down below the bed with his other hand.

“It’s not illegal. But you’re going to pin me down? I won’t bring up the difference in physique or technique. But do you consider the difference in willpower?”

“Difference in technique?”

He was confident to the point of arrogance. Kyungwoo put his hand under Jaeha’s thick neck and gripped it tightly. Even though he pressed hard on the carotid artery, Jaeha let out a low moan as if not in pain and leaned his body closer. Because of that, Kyungwoo rather couldn’t put strength in his hand.

“If you had hidden skills, you should have shown them earlier. To passively enjoy it like a chaste monk and now talk about skills is bad conscience.”

“Bullshit.”

“You didn’t even stick out your tongue the whole time we were kissing. And yet you kept rejecting my lead.”

It felt like being hit in the head. He thought he had actively accepted his caresses in his own way. Throughout rubbing tongues, groping bodies, and exchanging heat, he thought he had responded actively in his own way. But it seemed he was far from adequate.

“It hurts to show it so obviously even if you’re not into it.”

“Was I such a soft person to be hurt?”

Unable to find words to say, Seo Jaeha created an escape route. Kyungwoo turned his face to the side, unable to tell if it was hot or cold. Then Jaeha placed his lips on his cheekbone area again. The moist and soft skin came close to under his eyes.

“It’s an opportunity I finally caught. I don’t want to waste it meaninglessly. I’ll lead from the top. Complaints are no longer accepted.”

The hand that had been touching the back of Kyungwoo’s knee swept down his calf and eventually reached his ankle, removing his shoes.

*Thud.*

His socks were also removed afterward. His ankle was caught in a large hand along with his wrist. His bent knee wandered beside his thick chest.

“You’re so… full of… enthusiasm… how nice.”

That was the best answer he could find. Realistically, Kyungwoo didn’t have the skills to dominate Jaeha either. He just didn’t want to be caught being at the level of a chaste monk.

Jaeha loosened his own tie that hung down in one swift motion. Then he overlapped their bodies and placed his hand on Kyungwoo’s belt. For a moment, his insides churned. Kyungwoo was preoccupied with calming his nerves that vibrated sensitively to his extremities.

“Are you going to keep wearing this watch?”

After removing the metal watch he was wearing and dropping it under the bed, Jaeha felt the leather watch wrapped around Kyungwoo’s wrist.

“Does it bother you?”

“If we don’t take it off now, I feel like you’ll check the time in the middle of it. It’s good to prevent unpleasant matters in advance.”

“Pfft.”

At the serious explanation, Kyungwoo laughed absurdly like someone caught off guard. As if it wasn’t a joke, Jaeha really seriously added, ‘Take it off.’

“Unlike your appearance, you have a cute side, Prosecutor Seo.”

Kyungwoo removed his watch and dropped it under the bed. And he unfastened his cufflinks too.

The unexpected laughter lifted a layer of the tension that had been lurking. While he’d been acting confident from earlier, his partner showed signs of being overly conscious of this side’s reaction. It meant that he wasn’t alone in finding this situation very difficult and perhaps even frightening.

Thinking he shouldn’t turn him into an enemy, he tried both threatening and coaxing him, but, “It’s hard to stake my entire career on money that wouldn’t even cover the jeonse deposit for an apartment. Don’t you have anything else?” “Like what?” “There should be at least one open position at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office or the Ministry of Justice.” The bastard was far more tr*sh than expected. The problem was, “You think I’ll just let this go?” “If you expose it, you’ll kill me, but you won’t die alone. If a video of the Taeryoung heir rolling around on drugs in broad daylight spreads all over message boards… What then?” Among the things the bastard knew, not a single one was actually true.
