Though his expression wasn't visible, both his voice and actions were unmistakably sarcastic. As Ihyun glared at the pitch-black helmet, Cha Dobum tilted his head.
"But fuck, the more I think about it, the more fucking creepy it is. Hey, do you really want to give yourself to some bastard who's been waiting to devour you the moment the clock struck January 1st?"

Though he'd practiced talking back to Cha Dobum, he'd never imagined a conversation like this. His fingertips trembled as he clenched his fists, but Cha Dobum had no intention of stopping.
"So. Was it good?"
"I said watch your mouth."
"Ah, can't I ask? Why? Between two people who've even kissed to 'practice.'"
"Practice was something you said on your own! And I......"
Swallowing down his trembling voice, he added.

The taxi honked. It was an irritated sound, but right now he was rather grateful for it. As he tried to pass Cha Dobum, his wrist was suddenly grabbed.
