「(Seoul=Habdong News) Reporter Kim Jaeseong = A police officer suspected of receiving money and goods from a broker in exchange for covering up a case of minors entering the club ‘Carnival’ in Gangnam, Seoul, has been booked as a suspect.
This is the first time an active-duty police officer has been arrested in connection with suspected collusion between clubs in the Gangnam area and police.
Seoul Central District Court Judge Myeong Wooseok, in charge of warrants, announced on the 7th that he had issued an arrest warrant for Inspector A from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Regional Investigation Team, who was charged with third-party bribery.
Inspector A was in charge of a case reported to the police last June when a minor, Mr. ㄱ, charged 16 million won at Club Carnival using his parents’ card.
Inspector A is suspected of receiving millions of won from broker Kim So-and-so and sending the case to the prosecution with a non-prosecution opinion.
Kim So-and-so, a former police officer and currently the CEO of an online clothing shopping mall company, is in custody on charges of aggravated punishment for specific crimes (brokering bribery) for receiving tens of millions of won from Yoo, the nominal president of Carnival, and delivering part of it to Sergeant B at Gangnam Police Station.
It was confirmed that part was delivered to Inspector A and Sergeant B, and he kept the remaining amount for himself.
Inspector A and Sergeant B were found to have known each other from working together at the Hongik District Station of Mapo Police Station in the past.
Although the police applied for an arrest warrant for Sergeant B on charges of bribery after the fact, the prosecution did not request a warrant from the court, saying “there is no need for arrest based on evidence, etc.”

What do you mean it’s not?
Seo Juhan’s brown eyes shook as if an earthquake had occurred.
In particular, his gaze was fixed on the phrase <minor Mr. ㄱ charged 16 million won at Club Carnival using his parents’ card>.
Seo Juhan clicked his tongue.
It was absurd that he was denying it when there was such blatant evidence.
Naturally, scenes from movies or dramas came to mind.
On a dazzling table, expensive liquor and snacks were laid out, the ashtray was piled high with cigarette ash, and women dressed provocatively were sitting beside him……
Wait, was it men?
Seo Juhan’s eyes contorted at that thought.
He felt extremely dirty.
He quickly erased the lingering images, telling himself not to indulge in useless delusions. It was a waste of time to spend on such a bastard.
He decided to think productive thoughts even if forced.
However, his stream of consciousness quickly broke off.
Suddenly, ebony-like eyes flickered before his eyes.
Ah shit, again……!
Seo Juhan chewed his lips hard. He also chewed on those innocent cow eyes together.
He had a duty to kill time here. And the distracting thoughts stuck to him like black gum and wouldn’t come off. Like going through a maze with no exit, no matter how much he turned his thoughts around, he returned to the starting point.
Eventually, his phone appeared again.
Since he couldn’t neglect his duty as a supervisor, he didn’t forget to hide it.
Seo Juhan could understand the students’ hardships a little.
How boring must it have been to sit still when my words would sound like alien language to them?
That empathy was brief too. When he was a student, except when taking performance assessments, he had never even turned on his phone.
Seo Juhan tapped the search bar and entered a new word.
「Jeonghan City middle schooler dad’s car」
When he pressed enter, related articles popped up in a row.
He scrolled down the screen, briefly scanning the titles with his eyes.
But no matter how far he scrolled, there was nothing he was looking for. Most of the articles were about an incident that happened in another region a year ago.
It was a tragic incident where a group of middle schoolers stole someone else’s vehicle, went on a joyride, and even caused a pedestrian death accident.
Although what Go Un did should have been featured prominently in local newspapers, it didn’t seem to be a very serious matter nationally.
Or did they erase everything?
It was a reasonable and rational suspicion. Even if their child was a criminal, it was a parent’s heart to defend and embrace them in their arms anyway.
Just as Seo Juhan was about to give up his misplaced interest, his eyes narrowed. He spotted an article that seemed to be the only relevant one.
He pressed it with his thumb.
「”Fearless brothers” took dad’s car and had accident during joyride in Jeonghan……
Drove father’s foreign car on highway at high speed,
Arrested after ramming guardrail

[E Maru Journal Reporter Myeong Intae] Two brothers are under police investigation on suspicion of taking their father’s car on a joyride around the highway near Buk-Jeonghan IC in Gyeonggi Province and ramming into a guardrail.
High school student A and middle school student B discovered on the 5th that their father’s foreign car was in the underground parking lot of Raon Tower.
Around 2 AM, A and others brought a spare key from home and drove their father’s car out. They finally stopped after ramming the guardrail at the end of a chase with police lasting about 3 minutes.
During police investigation, it was revealed that the statements of A and B were contradictory. A stated to the effect that “younger brother B said he wanted to try driving the car and I tried to stop him from the side,” but it is reported that B actively denied the motive for the crime.
A and others did not suffer any particular injuries and were confirmed not to have been drinking.

……This is it.
Seo Juhan almost slapped his knee without realizing it.
Since he said he was injured in a traffic accident, Go Un seemed to be ‘middle school student B.’ It seemed he had an older brother.
What a dysfunctional family……
It seemed that brother was the one who instigated it from the side. It was also laughable that when they got into trouble together but faced crisis, they betrayed each other. You could tell about the brotherly love between the Go brothers.
Anyway, it also meant Go Un was the second and youngest child. When they did the multi-child survey for student aid last time, the guy didn’t apply.
Is it because he’s the youngest……
He could somewhat understand the original template who chattered away by himself all the time even without responses.
When people asked Seo Juhan about his siblings and he answered he was an only child, he often heard “you’re definitely like an only child.” That reaction was somehow annoying, but in fact, he had similar stereotypes too.
“Tsk.”
Seo Juhan shook his head from side to side.
It was all just excuses. He couldn’t know just from Go Un’s words. The possibility that the older brother was sane and the younger brother was a delinquent was also high.
Originally, guys with slick faces who were good with their tongues were the most untrustworthy. The more trustworthy a guy seemed, the better he was at talking behind backs.
Seo Juhan turned his gaze to the clear sky.
White clouds that weren’t visible earlier were floating by. They looked as light as feathers.
The mass of moisture floating in the air didn’t hold his attention long.
Seo Juhan soon lowered his head and checked to see if there were other articles. He was engrossed as if he were the person involved in the incident.
Time flowed away like that.
Seo Juhan’s head was filled with ‘black-haired psychopath.’
Before he knew it, a resounding bell pierced his eardrums.
Only then did Seo Juhan’s nerves, which had been focused on one place, snap to attention. It was already the end of exam time. The time that had been so tedious passed quickly too.
He couldn’t find any other articles besides that. There was little to show for it.
Seo Juhan stood up from his seat and put his phone in his pants pocket.
“The person in the very back, collect the test papers and OMR cards neatly. Put yours on the bottom.”
Standing behind the teacher’s desk, he put on his social mask and spoke dryly.
The classroom became noisy with the sound of chairs being dragged back with squeaks. Heavy yawns and stretches that had been held back burst out sporadically.
Voices chattering noisily could already be heard from the hallway, as if other classes had collected them in advance.
The guys assigned to collection duty flipped through carelessly as if annoyed and left. The unorganized bundles of paper had corners sticking out jaggedly in all directions. Such bundles were piled haphazardly on the teacher’s desk.
Standing behind the desk, Seo Juhan turned over the answer sheets one by one, checking if they were in order.
Even though he clearly told them to bring them in order, it was a mess. He had to reorganize them one by one, so he quickly got to work.
Seo Juhan tapped the bundle of answer sheets on the desk to align them and carefully put them into the large yellow answer sheet return envelope.
On the front of the envelope, he had already filled in the expected number of test-takers, actual number of test-takers, and the names and exam numbers of absentees. He checked only the quantity of test papers and put them in the test paper envelope.
He had to quickly bring them to the teachers’ office and prepare to supervise the next period. He came out of the classroom with the heavy bundles tucked under his arm.
The hallway was crowded with lax thugs who had just woken up. The smell of cigarettes seemed to have become thicker too. Even though they didn’t study, it seemed the exam weighed on their minds somewhat.
Moving with quick steps, Seo Juhan glanced through an open doorway.
It was the back door of his homeroom class, the class right next door.
The crazy bastard sitting at the very back by the window caught his eye at once. The guy was looking at a book.
His widely spread legs and posture leaning loosely against the backrest looked cocky, but he seemed to be doing something resembling studying.
At the back of the classroom, the colts were roughhousing with each other in headlocks. The chatterboxes walked around between desks engaging in verbal martial arts. Besides that, the trashy adult bastards playing at being students blocked his view intermittently while spitting.
Suddenly, Seo Juhan stopped in his tracks.
His gaze was fixed on only one place. Everything else was blurry like a camera out of focus. He stood fixed there as if possessed by something.
Go Un sat in his seat without budging. Except for spinning his pen, which seemed to be a habit, there was no movement. Except for occasional page turns and tilting his head, he remained the same.
Despite all kinds of antics happening around him, he focused only on his own work.
Indeed, befitting a crazy bastard, he seemed to be equipped with an extraordinary brain.
Beyond that, endless blue stretched out.
The scenery outside the wide window was incomparably clear and bright.
Perhaps to prevent examinees from escaping, the classroom located on the top floor was unusually close to the sky.
The blue light created by the scattering of short wavelength light contrasted with his jet-black hair. Combined with his at least decent-looking appearance, it evoked a strange emotion.
Was that why?
Before, very briefly, he had thought that sight looked like something from a drama. And indulging in such impressions was an extremely rare occurrence in Seo Juhan’s life.
……Damn it.
Seo Juhan belatedly realized he was wasting time in the wrong place.
He hurriedly took a step.
