Card of Fantasy holds regular maintenance updates every Thursday from 10 AM to 1 PM. But since nothing really changes, users call it “no-update.”
So I thought this would be another no-update too… but when I checked the official homepage around 1:30, the main page had been changed to something flashy, with an illustration of Clara, Card of Fantasy’s main NPC, smiling brightly while holding a camera.
‘What’s this?’
I clicked on the event page that was lit up with [NEW!]. And there, I could see the new event that had been added in this week’s update.

Actually, even when I saw that event page, I thought it had nothing to do with me. I just thought the game company was recruiting Newhtube creators for promotion and moved on.
But then suddenly a creator review session opened up on the free board, and posts like [I recommend ×× as a creator!] started popping up one after another.

I got so pissed off at this shameless bastard that I ended up writing a whole page cursing out Sisi in the guild chat.

I got depressed that no one sympathized with my Sisi-bashing, so I sent a whisper to silent Banye. Because I thought Banye at least knew the whole situation, so he might understand my feelings.

Banye didn’t react much, but at least he didn’t tease me playfully like Anaki or Suckeot-nim.
Encouraged by Banye’s attitude, I was able to tell Banye what I’d been thinking. That was…… a revenge scenario against Sisi.

But Banye, the person most necessary for my revenge scenario, was just indifferent.

And then no matter how much I talked, he didn’t respond and just hunted diligently.
I felt upset and sad realizing that even Banye, whom I trusted, wasn’t interested in what I was saying.
So even when Banye said a few words to me, I answered sullenly. Banye must have known I was sulking too, because he didn’t try to talk to me after that.
Later I thought I had been too selfish, but it had already been over an hour since we stopped talking and played the game, so it was awkward to strike up a conversation even halfheartedly.
Besides, after that Banye went AFK again, whether to smoke or what, leaving the Aang character standing in a corner of town.
I hovered around him, and when there was no reaction, I randomly tried [Greet], [Send Lovely Heart], etc., and finally tried [Hug].
“Oh?”
But suddenly the motion was accepted and Aang and Banyecredit hugged tightly.
I was bewildered, then realized Banye’s AFK had ended and called out happily.

I was curious about what Banye sent, so I checked the 1:1 message on Disco. And there was a Newhtube link sent from [Hwang Hyunjung].
“What is this……”
I followed that link.
The channel name was [Temporary]. There was one short 15-minute video uploaded, and the graphics in the thumbnail were familiar. Because it was Card of Fantasy.
And most importantly, the video title was……
“Aang1? What?”
I clicked on the video. And there I could see footage of Banye entering a dungeon with my character and quickly killing mobs.
At first I was bewildered, then I realized that Banye had filmed himself taking even doping potions he doesn’t normally use much, clearing dungeons one by one with tremendous power and speed, and chills ran down my spine.
“No…… What! Banye, you tsundere!”
I was so moved I immediately gushed in the comments.
