Over the past few months, or rather, since waking up in a 28-year-old body, it was the first time someone had called his name.
And the other party was even Gil Taeseo. It was a succession of events that felt utterly unreal.
“You, you…… What. And where even is this place?”
The only place accessible from that alley would be establishments, but this room didn’t look like an ordinary room in operation either. Unless it was a place where the owner or manager sat.
The way he had mercilessly ground up that human earlier, and how that door-sized man had been completely tamed. And this space, even Gil Taeseo’s menacing back standing near the desk by the window.
His thoughts spun round and round before converging on a single suspicion.
‘This bastard…… what the hell has he become? A gangster?’
No answer came back from the other party. The man moved slowly with his gaze fixed on Saehyeon. It wasn’t so much that he had leisure, but rather looked like he was prowling before prey.
He took off his coat and threw it carelessly, then unbuttoned and rolled up his black shirt. Each time the black shirt folded, his white and firm forearms gradually expanded their area.
And the moment their eyes met, the man began to move. Even as he got closer and closer, his gaze clung as if it wouldn’t detach.
Instinct seemed to be screaming to avoid those eyes. But reason stubbornly insisted not to do that again this time. In the end, Saehyeon had no choice but to face him approaching with strength in his eyes, staring intently.
Gil Taeseo, who had approached within arm’s reach, bent down. The long shadow of the man standing with his back to the window slowly crawled up Saehyeon’s body.
A brief silence flowed. If things like shadows, silence, or gazes could have weight, he even thought he might have been crushed long ago. Something indescribably complex seemed visible in the eyes that met his.
It was an awkward situation for Saehyeon. Lee Saehyeon, who had already done strange things with him, had used amnesia as an excuse to flee into the unconscious, hadn’t he?
But when such thoughts reached an extreme, he suddenly began to think this.
‘So what about it?’
Wasn’t it my past self who got fucked? No, and if I didn’t deliberately attack but had rela… tions under mutual consent and then broke up in a shitty way, then we broke up. He thought there was nothing to break out in a cold sweat about.
If they were in a relationship where they’d been apart for years without facing each other, it was clear there wouldn’t be enough contact points for the memory gap to show.
Saehyeon had absolutely no intention of pouring out his situation to him in detail.
Somehow hiding weak parts and trying to show a strong appearance by puffing up his collar was something like Lee Saehyeon’s habit and essence.
“What, what are you looking at?”
There was exactly that background to these words popping out. These words became a small stone thrown at Gil Taeseo’s plaster statue-like face.
“Haha……”
Gil Taeseo began to laugh quietly. Whatever was so funny, his back heaved up and down. The curves of his back revealed in the shirt pulled taut as he crouched down undulated each time he laughed.
On his face, devoured by darkness with his back to the light, there still remained laughter that hadn’t fully disappeared. In that state, the man looked up at Saehyeon’s dazed face, half-mixed with bewilderment and wariness. Light pouring from behind flowed along the edges of his hair and shoulder line.
‘This is…… fucked.’
A belated intuition flashed through his brain. But it was already too late to run away. Wasn’t he confined in a place blocked on all sides? Even if that weren’t the case, running away actually seemed impossible.
Though he’d been imposing and large-bodied before, the 28-year-old Gil Taeseo he faced after several years had become an adult exuding a far more dangerous atmosphere. Frustratingly, he was just as breathtakingly pretty as before, though.
Gil Taeseo, who noticed that Saehyeon’s gaze had swept over his body and then been caught on his face, opened his mouth after a strange laugh.
“What am I looking at? If not Lee Saehyeon sitting in front of me, what else would I look at? What are you doing sitting still? You should be taking them off now.”
At the leisurely and eerie laugh, Saehyeon swallowed and grabbed his waistband.
Could you do such things while fighting and tearing each other apart to death? Regarding this, Saehyeon was on the side of confidently thinking ‘absolutely not.’
Generally that side was reasonable, and even from Saehyeon’s own perspective it was so. Why would you do that… kind of thing with someone you hate that much? When even with someone you like you’d be cautious.
That’s why, whether imagining or supposing a reunion with Gil Taeseo, anyway the worst-case scenario was violence. In other words, physical violence actually inflicted with fists.
But at this moment, in this situation desperately clutching his waistband, that clear conviction seemed to crumble down.
When he pulled his body back as far as possible, the leather of the sofa also touched his back. Saehyeon’s body trembled. He couldn’t tell if it was because of the suddenly cold thing touching him or because of the current situation.
No matter how much he rolled his eyes and pulled his body back, Gil Taeseo standing firmly like a minister before his eyes didn’t disappear. He, with his lips twisted crookedly, spat out.
“Why. Do I have to take those off for you too?”
“Wh-what…… what are you telling me to take off?”
He tried to speak boldly but the trembling at the end of his words was unavoidable. The sentence scrawled in the notebook by his pre-amnesia self suddenly pierced his brain.
[Since I was the one who got stuck in, at least I’m not the dick, right?]
‘No fuck, do you call that talking?!’
While someone cursed his past self to death, another person was staring intently at that scene.
Hunched up and pressed back as if burrowing into the sofa, clutching his waistband and yapping, he looked like a chihuahua scared to death.
Gil Taeseo slowly swept over such Saehyeon.
Whether he’d gotten it from rolling around through a series of incidents, his hair and clothes were a mess with pale dust and sand stuck all over.
On his pale face, gaunt cheeks, and slender nape, red strangled marks were rising. On parts exposed like his hands, there were also small scratches.
From his bony shoulders that flinched at even small sounds to his pale complexion, there wasn’t a single thing he liked. Gil Taeseo, who furrowed his brow, finally suddenly reached out his hand.
“If you won’t listen, I’ll do it my way.”
A large hand instantly grabbed his ankle. The slender ankle fit entirely in his hand with room to spare. At this point, it seemed he could probably grab both ankles with one hand.
When he grabbed and pulled, the body that had retreated as far back as possible slid forward smoothly. Saehyeon, who ended up in a position half-precariously draped and lying down, struggled in panic.
“What the hell are you doing now?! Won’t you let go?!”
“The one acting crazy right now is you. If you can’t understand after being told 3 times, are you a dog, not a human bastard?”
But resistance with limbs drained of all strength couldn’t be effective. In fact, even if that weren’t the case, it would have been hopeless.
“Talking to someone who can’t even understand words just makes my mouth hurt, fuck.”
Eventually, the moment the other hand grabbed and pulled off the sneaker, Saehyeon squeezed his eyes shut and shouted.
“Y-you crazy perverted bastard!”
But for a while with his eyes tightly shut, nothing else happened. Except that the sneakers were pulled off smoothly and even the socks were all taken away.
A brief silence flowed and Saehyeon slowly opened one eye first.
“What, pervert?”
And he immediately made eye contact with Gil Taeseo. Though it wasn’t clearly visible, devoured by the backlight, he could at least feel that the other party was sneering.
“The pervert is you, only having strange delusions.”
A large hand slowly held and examined his foot. At the touch of another person’s hand that suddenly approached, Saehyeon’s leg flinched.
Half-baked into the sofa with only his neck crumpled, Saehyeon blinked. He couldn’t properly grasp the situation for a moment.
But he could tell one thing. The worst situation he’d imagined hadn’t occurred, but things were flowing in some other strange direction.
“What are you doing right now……”
“Shut up and stay still. While I’m asking nicely.”
Gil Taeseo’s hands were very large and unexpectedly warm. His toes, frozen cold from tension and fatigue, felt so hot it seemed they might get burned.
He could feel the hand wrapping around the top of his foot and moving it this way and that. For something grabbed roughly, it was a cautious touch.
The sensation of showing a part that generally wouldn’t be shown to others, and having soft flesh brushed by another person’s skin was truly strange. And the fact that the other person was Gil Taeseo as well.
He was the man who had turned a person into mush in an alley without batting an eye. Such a man was at the feet of an Omega so shabby that it would be thought natural for him to be trampled by others. He was kneeling and hunching his body without a care.
With shadow falling over the pale foot that shone white in the light that pierced through the window, delicate fingers lightly pressed and held the foot.
