With a troubled heart, I raised my hand and cupped his cheek. Hajin looked down at me with puzzled eyes.
“Hajin-ssi, what do you think would happen if I went back to before I lost my memory?”
Hajin narrowed his eyes and asked.
“Is that a threat?”
“No. How could it be? I just suddenly became curious. If I hadn’t changed, what would our relationship be like?”
“One of the three of us would be dead.”
“What? Dead?”
“That’s how serious it was. You didn’t think we were protecting you.”
“Then what did I think?”
Hajin smiled bitterly. The shadow that fell across his face made my heart sting again.
“Even after watching all the footage I showed you, you stubbornly insisted that you weren’t the culprit. You resented us, saying you needed to leave here to clear your name, but couldn’t.”
Hajin gave a hollow laugh as if he still found it incredulous.
Come to think of it, Yoon Juwon was truly remarkable in many ways. How could he deny it when the evidence was right in front of him? Was he shameless? Or did he detest the brothers more than going to prison? In my opinion, it was probably both.
“You asked what our relationship would have been like if you hadn’t lost your memory? Would there even have been a relationship? One of the three of us would have died, and the remaining two would have gone insane.”
Hajin didn’t even blink while uttering these chilling words. He spoke with such conviction. That’s why his words sounded more heartbreaking than frightening. Hajin pressed his lips against my forehead as if stamping a seal.
“I’m glad you changed. And into such a pretty, good, and kind person…”
Each of his words dug into my heart. Without either of us initiating it, our lips met again. In the blink of an eye, Hajin was naked, breathing roughly as he placed his hands on my body. A tingling sensation bloomed wherever his hot hands passed. And finally, when his hand reached that place, I let out the moan I had been holding back.
“You’re quite a mess.”
Hajin sighed as he looked down at me.
“Be honest. When I asked you to come earlier, you stood still not because you were angry, but because of the marks on your body.”
Since I had already been found out, there was no point in lying anymore, so I nodded, and he cursed under his breath.
“Is Hahyun always this rough?”
“It’s bad manners to talk about another man in bed.”
“…What?”
“Besides, you’re not exactly gentle yourself, Hajin-ssi.”
“Do you prefer it gentle?”
“More than rough, yes.”
And not long after, I realized just how dangerous my words had been.

“Is that why you called us here?”
“While it’s good for our group that you two have a good relationship, shouldn’t we first ensure CEO Seo Hajin’s safety before discussing your relationship?”
Several people spoke up, and other directors nodded in agreement, veins bulging in their necks.
“That’s right. Currently, our stock is falling due to the issues with CEO Seo Hajin. If the stock price, which rose limitlessly as people competitively bought in, drops, we won’t be able to avoid suspicion of stock price manipulation.”
