Happy New Year Y’all
It was absurd, but the two were already immersed in their own world. Watching the two exchange conversation with gentle smiles, I kept my mouth shut. If I brought it up now, there was a high probability I’d be the only strange person. Because this is a world where everything revolves around Seha.
“But it seems Young Master Rosenthal’s anger hasn’t subsided.”
I was silently listening to the two’s conversation, when Seha looked at me with an innocent smile.
“Pardon…?”
“As I thought, I should have chased those bastards then, so your feelings still haven’t settled.”
“No. I’m not angry….”
“You’re not even talking, and your expression is scary.”
I looked at the mirror beside the bed. Was it that obvious? But it was just flushed from the remaining excitement from the pheromones, the same beautiful face as always.
“That can’t be? If you had chased them, you as a Hyeon Tribe member would have been in danger too. The Crown Princess isn’t so petty, so don’t worry.”
“Still….”
“It was a back alley where the Empire’s light doesn’t reach. It wasn’t something you could do. The Crown Princess was too brave. To enter such a place.”
Eldon patted Seha’s shoulder to comfort him. Befitting the novel’s protagonists, their visual chemistry was really good.
But a back alley? I only walked on the main street and never entered a narrow alley. Don’t tell me Seha said that? Why? To prevent them from finding me? Because he was afraid of being caught stealing the key?
I looked at Seha. Then he smiled innocently and looked back at me. His pure eyes like a child who knows nothing somehow felt eerie.
A while later, Leon, the aide, came urgently looking for Eldon, and Eldon and Seha returned to the Crown Prince’s Palace.
About an hour after they left, Silang came to visit. While openly showing he disliked me, he treated all my wounds with magic.
“Thank you. But if you treat everything like this, won’t I develop magic dependence…?”
I asked as carefully as possible. Then Silang coldly spat out “Once or twice is fine,” then left without even greeting. It was so cold I thought I’d come to Siberia.
The villain buff is as impressive as the protagonist buff. I didn’t do anything, yet how can everyone hate me like this? Would it be a bit better if I get away from the characters in the novel?
I spun my wrist, lighter than usual, and wiggled my ankle, when Raki returned.
The paintings didn’t sell.
They said it was a system where they first hang them in the gallery, then receive money after the paintings sell. It’s not like illustrations where you set the pay in advance and work, I thought too hastily.
Still, I took a step forward for a free life. My wrists and ankles were light, and I fell asleep comfortably for the first time in a while. Or so I thought I could.
But when I closed my eyes, the image of Eldon and Seha affectionately exchanging gazes kept coming to mind.
Damn it! That bastard Eldon! If honey was going to drip in less than a minute, why did you use pheromones on me? Why did you ask if I loved you? Why did you say I’m yours, why did you kiss someone else’s body, you bad bastard!
Even tossing and turning, sleep wouldn’t come. I sat bolt upright in bed.
I should go see Fushi. Since it’s the middle of the night, Seha and Eldon won’t be nearby either. I went outside carefully so as not to wake Raki.
As I lightly descended the sparkling marble stairs, a servant standing guard quickly approached. Whether Eldon’s order had been given, the servants, maids, and guards had all been newly replaced, so it was a face I was seeing for the first time.
“Young master, why have you come out at such a late hour?”
“I’m going to see Fushi.”
“I’ll escort you.”
“No. I’ll go alone.”
“If you move alone, young master, I’ll be punished.”
Maybe if I was hurt, but now my body has fully recovered and it’s more comfortable with just Raki and me, yet he’s being unnecessarily considerate.
“Alright.”
The servant put me in a carriage.
Arriving at the Crown Prince’s Palace after three days, I somehow felt nostalgic. The days when I wore the chastity belt and diligently chased after Eldon’s tail felt like they were a long time ago.
I tried to walk toward where Fushi was, but the servant confidently headed in the opposite direction. I quickly chased after him.
“Did you move Fushi to another place?”
Did he change the location so Seha could take care of him more easily?
“No.”
The servant curtly shook his head. The new servant also dislikes me just the same. But he’s confidently going the wrong way. Is he young and doesn’t know well?
“Um, I don’t think it’s this way….”
I was trying to carefully inform him of his mistake, when I heard a puppy’s cry.
“Woof!”
“Stop it. That tickles.”
When a pure white Samoyed licked Seha’s face, Seha burst into laughter.
“Now he follows you more than me.”
Eldon smiled warmly and petted the dog’s head.
He really is a sweet top. A sweet top indeed. It wasn’t keyword fraud. He was someone who could smile so warmly.
But why did the servant bring me here? To tell me to give up since the Crown Prince found his match? It’s meddlesome when there’s no need to show me. I should just go see Fushi.
As I turned around, Seha’s refreshing voice rang out.
“Fushi, I said stop it.”
Fushi…? That Samoyed-looking dog is Fushi?
I froze stiffly and stared at the dog when Eldon stood up.
“Since Fushi has regained his energy, I’ll be going now.”
“Your Highness, just a little longer. Fushi waited so long.”
“I’ll come tomorrow.”
Eldon petted Fushi’s head and turned around. And upon discovering me, he stiffened.
“Rosenthal….”
“…Is that dog Fushi?”
“That is, well, so, uh, how did it happen….”
Uncharacteristically of Eldon, he stammered. My guess seems right. Fushi was that dog. But to mock me, they lied that the wolf was the Crown Prince’s pet Fushi.
“Fushi isn’t a dog! He’s a divine beast born with magic power!”
While Eldon couldn’t answer, Seha interjected to correct. I see. That’s why they didn’t use the expression ‘dog’ in the novel.
“I see. Only I didn’t know. His Highness the Crown Prince, the servants, maids, guards, and Seha-gun all knew, but only I didn’t know.”
Everyone in the Crown Prince’s Palace said. That the wolf was ‘Fushi.’ They all watched me tremble and feed the blue beast. It must have been so funny. How ridiculous I must have looked not knowing what my partner’s pet was, calling the wolf ‘Fushi’ and being happy to have befriended him. If it hadn’t been for the mistake of a young servant who didn’t know the situation, I might have gone my whole life without knowing.
“It’s easy to make a person look like a fool.”
Along with tears, the thoughts in my head burst out as is. I realized it was a mistake, but I didn’t want to pathetically correct it and cling.
I’ve reached my limit too.
“I’ll be going back now.”
I bowed my head.
I ran blindly in the opposite direction, when Eldon grabbed my hand.
“I was going to tell you! I was going to, but because you cherished that wolf, I couldn’t.”
“I understand.”
I shook off his hand and walked forward. Then the servant quickly followed.
“It’s fine. I want to be alone.”
“However….”
I glared at Eldon standing behind. He sighed softly and ordered the servant.
“Wait here.”
“Yes, Your Highness.”
As the servant bowed politely, Seha who had been standing behind approached.
“Young master, though I don’t know what this is about, your attitude toward His Highness seems too insolent.”
“No. I was the one in the wrong.”
Leaving Eldon gently soothing Seha behind, I blindly moved my steps.
I must hold back tears. I don’t want to cry over something like this. Putting strength in my eyes and clenching my fists, I walked forward, forward, and arrived at a familiar place.
Without realizing it, I came to Fushi’s, no, the wolf’s home. The blue wolf was sleeping.
I walked to the wolf’s side. It’s not a dog but a wolf. Since I haven’t seen it for nearly a week, it might have forgotten someone like me. It might bite me to death. But I felt like I didn’t care either way.
When I sat next to Fushi and petted its head, the tears I’d been holding back burst out.
I’ve been through all kinds of things since falling into this world. I almost got assaulted by a man I’d never seen, wore something called a chastity belt, worked while going hungry, and almost became a slave. No, since the brand was engraved, I’m half a slave. Still, I just got through it.
It wasn’t because I was nice. Everything was just on such a large scale that it felt unreal, like playing a virtual reality game. More than anything, Eldon hates me. I’m a villain sub-bottom, and he’s the protagonist. Since it’s a world where he’s set to hate me, I naturally accepted the neglect and torment. There was nothing to resent or feel hurt about.
But after enduring well until now, I burst at such a trivial lie.
It’s heartbreaking. It’s just so petty and base and dirty. If you don’t like me, you could have just told me to take the risk and feed the wolf. Did you have to make a person look like a fool that way? No matter how much you hate me, there’s no need to go that far, right?
Tears flowed down and fell onto the wolf’s fur. What am I doing? So disgracefully. The wolf must dislike it too. I crouched down and buried my face on my knees.
Objectively speaking, it’s not even a big deal. It’s much more trivial than the chastity belt. Yet the tears wouldn’t stop.
“Bad bastard. Bad bastard….”
I was endlessly pouring out tears while cursing as the words came out, when suddenly someone hugged me.
What? I raised my head. Then I saw a man’s flat chest and nipples.
Huh? Nipples?
I stiffened and lowered my gaze. Then I saw a huge penis. Wow, it’s really big. This isn’t at a human level? I admired the large penis for about a second before belatedly being shocked.
This bastard is naked! I’m already depressed and now a naked pervert is clinging to me! I tried to push him away in shock, but the man’s strength was strong. I fell backward from the recoil.
“Rosenthal, are you okay?”
I thought he was a crazy pervert uncle, but he was a beautiful boy on the boundary between boy and adult. Moreover, on his long blue hair, large ears protruded, and around his neck was a loose and large collar.
“Wh-who are you?”
“It’s me. Fushi.”
“Fushi?”
AH! I am cheering. Dogboy Fushi!
