# Chapter 45
It had been quite a while since Yeomin had seen a movie. (Originally, he never watched unless it was free.) But this kind of movie theater was a first in his life.
There were less than ten seats, and each chair was as wide as a bed. Plus, drinks and snacks were already set up on the side table.
Yet there was nobody in the theater except for the staff who guided them in. After even they left, there were only Jiho and himself in the entire theater.
After looking around the theater for a while, Yeomin innocently said:
“Seol Jiho… I think this movie isn’t popular. There’s no one here.”
Did you book the wrong one? At Yeomin’s words, Jiho burst into laughter.
“I rented the whole place.”
“Huh?”
Yeomin had a blank expression. Jiho confirmed it once more.
“I’m saying I reserved the entire theater.”
“…How much does that cost?”
Even in this situation, that’s what Yeomin was most curious about.
“If I tell you, you won’t be able to lie back and enjoy the movie comfortably. Still want to know?”
“…”
It seems like Seol Jiho is right—it might be better not to know.
‘By the way, Seol Jiho. You know me too well…? It’s creepy.’
Yeomin tried to push away his uneasy feelings and leaned back comfortably in his seat. It was so comfortable that he felt like falling asleep the moment he lay down.
How could anyone watch a movie like this? He’d just pass out immediately.
“How is it? Do you like it?”
“Does it matter if I like it? We’re just doing this for show anyway.”
Which raises a question: in this enclosed space, with only the two of them… who exactly is this date supposed to be for?
But the movie started soon after, so Yeomin missed his chance to ask. Anyway, it had been quite a while since he’d seen a movie, so he was a bit excited.
If it’s a date, isn’t the rule to watch a sweet romance, a sad human drama, or even a thriller that makes you jump so physical contact comes naturally?
But what appeared on the brightening screen in this luxurious theater was…
An animation. The title was <Escape Mission from Cococo Island>.
Deflated, Yeomin asked Jiho:
“…Seol Jiho, do you like animation?”
I didn’t know you had this taste.
Yeomin muttered while crunching on macadamia nuts.
Still, having this spacious theater to themselves had one advantage—they could talk freely.
“I was worried you might focus too much if the movie was interesting. I deliberately chose this.”
“You’re creatively insane.”
If only you used that good brain elsewhere. At the very least, if you put this much effort into an arranged marriage partner… wouldn’t that be better?
‘But I should consider the position of the person who has to marry Seol Jiho… what did they do to deserve that?’
Yeomin, uninterested in the animation, couldn’t concentrate on the screen at all. Jiho’s strategy had worked.
‘Ah, I’m sleepy…’
Yeomin tried hard to suppress a yawn.
He had already eaten a full meal, the seat was extremely comfortable, and whether it was the air purification system or something else, the theater itself was very pleasant and fragrant. The perfect environment for falling asleep.
As he struggled to keep his eyes open, he heard a voice from beside him.
“Hyung, you’re getting sleepy.”
Jiho had somehow moved close. He didn’t even know when he had gotten so near.
Unfortunately, the two seats were connected as if they were one, so there wasn’t even an armrest between them.
‘Honestly, at this point… isn’t this a hotel rather than a theater?’
“Don’t you think you’re lying too comfortably?”
Yeomin was stretched out with both legs extended, lying down as if this were his own bedroom. A posture with zero tension, just before deep sleep.
“What can I do when I’m sleepy?”
“Want me to wake you up?”
“Can’t I just sleep for a bit? You watch the movie while I take a quick nap.”
“No way. You’re on a date with me right now.”
Wow. That’s really unfair. There’s only the two of us anyway, what’s wrong with sleeping a bit? This greedy bastard.
Yeomin felt wronged.
“You should focus on me during a date. Hyung, you wouldn’t do this during work, right?”
“Actually, when I’m at work, I’m always thinking about other things and wanting to go home.”
Ah, you’ve never worked a part-time job, so you wouldn’t know. Right.
“So you want to go home right now too?”
Jiho looked disappointed. Yeomin found this situation absurd. Is this something to argue about?
“If I say yes, will you let me go…?”
He asked hopefully, but looking at Jiho’s expression, it seemed unlikely.
“You can’t go home. But you can sleep for a bit.”
Jiho made a concession of sorts.
“Really?”
“But face this way when you lie down.”
He turned Yeomin’s head to face him as he lay down. Unfortunately, Yeomin’s body had shifted downward a bit, so his gaze fell on Jiho’s lips.
“Sleep. Like this.”
“…”
Why now of all times? Suddenly, the memory of their last kiss flashed through his mind.
Just like when they had kissed in front of the refrigerator for a long time, Yeomin felt his lower half stir again.
Was I always this honest to my instincts? Or am I the pervert type who gets excited in public places?
Yeomin was getting to know a side of himself he hadn’t known before.
So he felt embarrassed, ashamed, and unfamiliar with himself, but…
At the same time, Yeomin grew curious.
“Why aren’t you sleeping? I told you to sleep.”
“I can’t sleep now.”
“Then look at me. My face is more interesting than the movie.”
That’s true, which makes it more annoying. But I’ll let it go this time.
“Not that.”
“Not that?”
Jiho echoed Yeomin’s words. Yeomin’s dry lips quivered before he finally spoke.
“Do you want to… kiss?”
I’m just curious about how it would feel to do it again.
When he said those words, Yeomin didn’t feel particularly nervous. It wouldn’t matter if he was rejected.
“…”
At Yeomin’s suggestion, Jiho’s expression changed in an unreadable way. Unfortunately, the screen had darkened, so he couldn’t see Jiho’s face properly.
– Bwahahaha!
As if mocking Yeomin, the cartoon characters’ unruly laughter rang out.
After that came stillness. Jiho’s voice resonated, mixed with a rather meaningful background music.
“Why so suddenly?”
I thought he’d wag his tail and jump at the chance if I suggested a kiss. Surprisingly, his voice was sinking lower.
Plus, there was that gaze that seemed to be wary of him.
‘Why? Because I suddenly got turned on, that’s why.’
Yeomin replied shamelessly. Perhaps his current shamelessness was due to being sleepy. After all, he had stayed up the night before, anticipating today’s date.
“Didn’t you know? You’re a good kisser.”
“…”
“So I thought I might enjoy this while we’re doing it.”
“Didn’t you say you weren’t gay? That you liked women? But now you’re turned on by kissing a guy?”
At times like this, he’s really not so easy-going. Can’t he just go with it and move on?
He recalls a memory from quite a while ago, when he got upset at Jiho and insisted he wasn’t gay. Yeomin cleared his throat.
But aren’t humans known for saying one thing and doing another? The more embarrassed he was, the louder Yeomin became.
“What? Are you less interested now that I don’t dislike it?”
“It’s not that, I’m just worried.”
“Worried?”
‘Are you concerned I might develop feelings and refuse to let go?’
Just as he was about to shout that he should drop such useless worries, Jiho suddenly reached out his hand.
Then he gently stroked the side of Yeomin’s head as they lay facing each other. It was a very delicate touch, but Yeomin didn’t find it particularly affectionate.
“I’m worried you might get a taste for kissing men because of me, and then go looking for someone else.”
“What nonsense are you talking about.”
“Just imagining you kissing another guy makes me annoyed already.”
“So why are you imagining such things…”
Especially now, of all times.
At that moment, the protagonist’s line echoed in the theater: [You hopeless case!] The dialogue was so perfectly timed that he missed the chance to hear Jiho’s answer.
The movie viewing was already a lost cause. Yeomin and Jiho’s gazes remained intertwined for a while.
“If you don’t want to, fine. I’m not going to beg.”
“I’m still thinking about it.”
You do whatever you want when you feel like it? He’s really annoying. Isn’t this what they call power harassment?
Whether Yeomin gave him a look of accusation or not, Jiho remained relaxed.
“Should I give you a carrot now? Or should I make you know what hunger feels like?”
“Jiho, that’s you being self-centered. Has no one ever told you that?”
“I think you might be the first to say that to me.”
“Right. You tend to talk like you’re the main character. Fix that habit.”
Unless you want to live alone your whole life. Yeomin added, but Jiho didn’t seem to be paying much attention.
“Thanks for the advice, I’ll reward you with a kiss.”
I didn’t ask for one, I was saying I would do it…
By a hair’s breadth, Yeomin was pushed back.
Before he knew it, Jiho had moved over to Yeomin’s seat and was straddling him.
Jiho’s body partially blocked the movie screen.
‘Are there CCTVs in here?’
That thought suddenly occurred to him, but what good would such thoughts do now…
After all, they had come out today to properly show off this excessive romance of theirs.
He just needed to be faithful to his given role within it.
As Jiho’s shadow drew closer, Yeomin slowly closed his eyes.
“…”
But for quite a long time, he felt no sensation. Huh? Yeomin’s eyelashes fluttered.
As his tightly closed eyes twitched, a suppressed chuckle was heard right in front of his nose.
Yeomin opened his eyes in irritation. Jiho was right in front of his face, trying to hold back laughter.
“Are you making fun of me? What’s so funny?”
“Right now, hyung, you look just like a puppy waiting for food.”
“Want your lips torn apart by this puppy?”
“If you’re going to bite, why not bite somewhere else?”
With that, Jiho pointed to his collarbone. The way he opened his collar was quite fatal.
Get lost. Yeomin’s face paled at the sight of Jiho’s collarbone.
“I don’t plan on filming porn in a public place.”
“Tsk. I did it for you.”
“When did I ever ask you to!”
Right in front of the heated Yeomin were Jiho’s red lips. Looking at Yeomin’s wide-open eyes, Jiho lifted the corner of his mouth.
“Our puppy is angry.”
“Crazy…”
“Here, bite.”
It feels disgusting to be played with by this guy, but…
“You’re really insane.”
Yeomin bit Jiho’s lips.
It’s not like he particularly wanted to kiss that badly, but the movie was just too boring… let’s say that’s why.
