“Are you hung up on Park Ian?”

It seemed like Yoo Sinju had been listening in on the conversation, so he asked — and Yoo Sinju’s brow twitched as if he’d been hit right on the mark.

“…Mind your business.”

“You didn’t even care about him before, and now suddenly? Did something happen between you two during filming?”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

Yoo Sinju shot back, twisting his face like he’d just heard something deeply offensive.

“I’m curious — tell him to come up for a bit.”

Meanwhile, the conversation between the man and Park Ian continued.

At the man’s words, Park Ian laughed softly.

“No. I want him all to myself.”

At that cute little answer, Yoo Sinju slammed his glass down on the table hard enough to crack it and snapped irritably.

“Where’s more alcohol.”

He’d already drained the strong liquor that had been more than half full, and at that, Seo Jaeha panicked and got up to go get more.

Yoo Sinju gasped for breath, his hand groping around blindly.

His medication — he felt like he needed to take his medication.

Otherwise he had no idea where his head would go.

The moment he reached for the case lying on the table, his hand hesitated.

Confused by the inexplicable pause, Yoo Sinju’s face flushed with bewilderment.

Hesitate? Me? Why? Just because someone’s downstairs?

Yoo Sinju raked a hand through his hair, rattled.

Moon Heesung. Fuck, why is he like this. Why does he keep making me…

**

An hour later.

Park Ian drank recklessly with the group, laughing and making noise.

He kept things light — exchanging touches here and there with a careless ease — then rose from his seat.

As the people around him asked if he was leaving already, Park Ian just smiled pleasantly.

“What about the thing I asked for?”

He spoke to the man who had been pressing himself against him the moment he walked in, and the man handed Park Ian a prepared bottle of sparkling water.

“Don’t cause too much trouble.”

“Don’t worry.”

Park Ian took the sparkling water with satisfaction and headed out with light steps.

He went straight to the elevator, humming cheerfully to himself.

Truth be told, he hadn’t planned on doing anything tonight — but somehow, the thought of him waiting downstairs stirred something in him.

He liked the quiet, steadfast way Moon Heesung simply waited for him without a single complaint.

He knew it was strange, but that image gave Park Ian an almost electric thrill.

The moment he first laid eyes on him, he’d thought: I’ll sleep with him once and move on.

It had been a passing thought — but now, it felt a little different.

For starters, he needed to sleep with him at least once, and if it turned out to be something worth pursuing after that, he wanted to pursue it.

Of course, it felt like quite the downgrade for himself — but Moon Heesung struck him as someone worth taking a chance on.

That was how attractive Moon Heesung was to Park Ian.

“Did you wait long?”

He had let the road manager go for the night, and was sitting in the driver’s seat with his eyes closed.

When Park Ian knocked on the window, he opened his eyes and rolled it down.

Park Ian smiled brightly, handed him the sparkling water, and asked warmly.

Moon Heesung looked at the sparkling water in silence for a moment, then glanced at Park Ian.

“In case you were thirsty. Drink it.”

At the added words, Moon Heesung lowered his eyes and accepted it.

“Thank you.”

The tone was anything but grateful, and Park Ian let out a disbelieving laugh.

Moon Heesung took the sparkling water and set it aside without bothering to drink it.

Park Ian watched that and spoke again.

“Aren’t you going to drink it?”

At the question, Moon Heesung looked back up at Park Ian.

“I’m not thirsty.”

“I got it for you.”

At his quietly stubborn insistence, Moon Heesung drained about half the bottle in one go, as if it were a nuisance.

“Satisfied?”

“Mm-hm.”

Park Ian’s smile deepened.

“Let’s wait a little before we head out. My head is pounding.”

Before climbing into the back seat, Park Ian added in a languid tone.

He was an actor, after all — confidence in his performance was evident.

“There’s a blanket in the back, can you grab it for me?”

And just like that, he drew Moon Heesung naturally into the back seat.

Moon Heesung moved without suspicion.

The moment he leaned into the back seat to spread out the blanket he’d packed in the trunk, there was a thud and his body pitched forward.

It wasn’t a strong push, but it was enough to make him stumble briefly — he braced himself against the seat and shot a wary glance back.

Park Ian smoothly settled him into the seat and climbed onto Moon Heesung’s lap.

The fluid ease of the motion left Moon Heesung briefly caught off guard — but he snapped back to his usual self almost immediately and furrowed his brow at Park Ian perched on top of him.

“…What do you think you’re doing.”

The low voice rumbled out, and Park Ian felt a sharp tingle run through his core.

That he didn’t even flinch at something that should have been startling enough, and that voice — low and composed — was more than enough to make Park Ian’s pulse spike.

“Can’t you tell?”

Park Ian ran his hand slowly down along Moon Heesung’s side and smiled suggestively.

With his androgynous features, pretty was a word that suited him just as well — but Moon Heesung radiated nothing but a faint air of annoyance.

Sexual desire from another man. Homoerotic hunger.

In truth, these weren’t things that caught Moon Heesung particularly off guard.

Having spent half his life in a prison teeming with nothing but men, he was far too used to all of that.

No women to go to on the outside, but the need was still there — so men who could scratched that itch by finding whoever they could and getting into each other, and getting gotten into. It was commonplace.

In a place like that, Moon Heesung was exactly the kind of person who made an easy target.

An unusually good-looking face and a body without an ounce of wasted flesh.

He never went around flaunting those qualities, but among a crowd of ragged men, standing out was unavoidable.

It was a place where countless people lived pressed up against each other.

Where countless things happened, where countless emotions ran through — and sexual need was just one of them.

Among bearded older men, pot-bellied thugs, physically repulsive criminals — Moon Heesung was inevitably popular in that regard.

As a result, there were more than a few people who became obsessed with him, and more than a few who clung to him.

And it wasn’t only the ones who wanted to take — there were plenty who wanted to be taken.

Comparatively slight men. There were those who’d become addicted to being on the receiving end who would throw themselves at him, and plenty of others who simply leaned that way by nature.

Most of them pretended to be straight on the outside — but in there, it didn’t matter whether you were gay or straight.

All that mattered was whoever could relieve the hunger boiling through you right now.

Because of all that, Moon Heesung wasn’t particularly flustered or surprised to see a man desperate for it.

He just hadn’t expected that even out here — even someone as accomplished as a celebrity — would come throwing themselves at him.

“What are you thinking about?”

Park Ian addressed Moon Heesung with a mix of formal and informal speech.

By nature he’d happily drop all formality without a second thought, but somehow Moon Heesung’s presence kept pulling honorifics out of him against his will.

Moon Heesung stayed silent for a moment in the face of Park Ian’s best efforts to provoke him, flushed and wanting.

At the same time, a strange sensation crawled up Moon Heesung’s spine.

A tingle that began at the tips of his fingers made his composed expression flicker almost imperceptibly.

A heat quietly rising made a crack appear between Moon Heesung’s brows.

Park Ian caught that movement and his mouth split into a wide grin.

“How does it feel?”

At that question, Moon Heesung let out a soundless exhale and regarded the other with a look of contempt.

“…You laced the water.”

“Yes. Don’t worry. There won’t be any side effects. I only deal in quality. And I don’t treat people carelessly when I actually like them.”

The logic of I drugged you, but I’ll handle you with care was rather laughable — but no laughter came.

What an arrogant attitude.

Moon Heesung, still composed, warned him firmly.

“You should stop.”

“Stop what? We haven’t even started.”

“This doesn’t strike me as a particularly good idea.”

A rising star at the height of his career getting tangled up with a nobody of a manager — by any common standard, and from any manager’s perspective, it was a bad idea.

“That’s for me to decide.”

Park Ian leaned his upper body forward, pressing himself closer still.

The back door of the car was still wide open, yet he had no hesitation.

Whether it was the privacy of the building or simply his nature, he had no qualms about this at all.

“I liked you from the very first time I saw you.”

Park Ian rested the side of his face against Moon Heesung’s shoulder and whispered like a temptation.

Then he lifted a hand and ran his fingers lightly over the scar barely visible at Moon Heesung’s throat, letting his low, seductive words continue.

“Honestly, there are plenty of better-looking people than my manager out there… but someone who looks like a manager — that’s rare.”

“…….”

“My standards are high.”

“…….”

“And your voice is nice too.”

“…….”

“The calm… The masculinity…”

He’d had countless managers over the years, but Moon Heesung was genuinely a man of few complaints.

No grumbling even when asked to do unreasonable things, no flustering even when difficult situations arose.

That was actually what had moved Park Ian most.

“…Take it easy. I’m not asking you to take responsibility for anything.”

“…….”

“If it’s the fact that I’m a man that’s bothering you…”

“Can you handle it?”

That heavy voice swallowed up the soft, coaxing one.

Not polite, not even close — an outright cocky remark, and it came out of Moon Heesung’s mouth just like that.

Park Ian’s eyes went wide for a moment.

He hadn’t processed the provocative words right away, and he lifted his head to stare at Moon Heesung with a stunned expression.

But without waiting for the other to catch up, Moon Heesung gripped both of Park Ian’s ass cheeks in his hands like he was about to crush them.

The sheer force of it pushed a faint moan out from between Park Ian’s teeth.

“…I’ll wreck you completely.”

Moon Heesung, released after fifteen years behind bars. The one goal he has upon returning to the world: "That bastard. I'm going to make a decent human being out of him." Specifically — to turn Yoo Sinju, a popular actor at the center of endless scandal and someone he once thought of as a little brother, into a functioning person. Thanks to his no-nonsense, efficient way of handling things, Moon Heesung — despite his criminal record — becomes a bodyguard and private manager. And he starts taking care of Yoo Sinju in his own particular way… "Watching you whine while resorting to violence, I figured it'd be better to just give it to you once." "When did I ever whi—!" "Say it fast. You in or not." So — can Moon Heesung actually turn Yoo Sinju into a decent human being? [Preview] "From now on, I'll only say something three times." Shoving his phone carelessly into his pocket, Moon Heesung opened his mouth with a face so blank it seemed like you could stab him and not a drop of blood would come out. Yoo Sinju, who had been pointedly ignoring him and staring straight ahead, let out a scoff. "You're actually hilarious. Who do you think you are." "Your manager." "One phone call and I can have a manager like you fired." "I'll only say it three times." "Hey." "Shower." "Hey!" "Shower. That's three." "You…" Yoo Sinju found himself seething at Moon Heesung, who hadn't so much as blinked at his threats. It was already infuriating enough that this guy had shown up out of nowhere calling himself his manager — but that shameless, unrepentant attitude was grinding on Yoo Sinju's nerves something fierce. "Just who do you think you are, daring to give me ord—Ugh!" Before Yoo Sinju could even finish his furious tirade, Moon Heesung grabbed him by the back of the neck. The shock of it barely had time to register before Yoo Sinju found himself being dragged along with absurd ease — he thrashed and stared at Moon Heesung with a dumbstruck expression. "You — you, right now…!" The back of the neck? He grabbed me by the back of the neck? He's dragging me? You're dragging me? Me, Yoo Sinju? Me, who even the company president doesn't touch carelessly — me, who has over fifty million followers — me, who has top-tier directors practically crawling at my feet — me? "Hey, hey, hey — are you going to let go or not? Let go or not?!" Yoo Sinju stood at nearly 190 cm, his body honed by years of training to a level that drove his female fans absolutely mad. He was the type who looked down on everyone who came at him swinging, the type whose strength left even veteran bodyguards helpless. The idea that he could be dragged around like a dog this way — it was something he had never even imagined. "Hey!" Whether Yoo Sinju struggled or screamed made no difference. Moon Heesung hauled him straight to the bathroom off the bedroom, flung him inside without ceremony, and turned on the shower. Doused in an instant, Yoo Sinju sputtered and flailed, blinking rapidly. "You — what is this — pfft, blub — ack!" "Hold still so I can wash you." "That's — cold! It's cold!" "For the record, cold showers are good for the body." "Are you actually insane?!" "I told you." Soaked through as though he'd been reduced to a wet rag, Yoo Sinju glared at Moon Heesung with bloodshot eyes. This was a first. Treatment like this. Absolutely absurd treatment like this… Yoo Sinju's hands trembled as he stared at Moon Heesung like he could kill him. And of all people, you… You, who should be on your knees apologizing the moment you lay eyes on me. How dare you, to me… But even under that gaze — burning with outrage and cursing him — Moon Heesung only added simply: "I said I'd only say it three times." And at the same time, he reached out to pull off the soaked clothes. As if determined to defend that one last thing, Yoo Sinju crossed his arms over his chest and screamed: "Shut up and get out!"
