It’ll be the same anyway.
Yeongwon would just work hard chasing after him asking to be liked. Or he could see other cast members’ actions and copy them. Well, no matter how much help he received, what changed would still be nothing.
“More than that, you saw the message, right? For a preliminary meeting, isn’t today okay too?”
“Hyung doesn’t mind. You. Don’t you have a schedule?”
“I have an ad shoot tomorrow and nothing today, so should we set up an appointment for dinner? Should I contact them?”
“If you want to do that, do that. More than that, it’ll end late, so are you going to sleep over?”
“Yeah. I want to sleep together in your bed today, hyung. We’re going to date and get married soon anyway, so it’s okay, right?”
He’d just asked if he’d do as usual since it would be late, but Yeongwon pushed a wholesome topic between the two who were in opposition.
Since it was just a meaning of sleeping in one bed anyway, Jiseo accepted without much meaning.
“Why……”
Even so, he unconsciously tried to whisper as a joke asking why a full-grown kid would do that in a cramped space, but momentarily closed his mouth.
He’d almost given Yeongwon room with his own hands. Even if it’s cramped, I just have to endure one day, he thought, but he didn’t know a slightly different scene from expectations would unfold.
“What do you think would be an action felt as fulfilling personal motives?”
After returning from finishing a simple meeting and lying down after finishing all his tasks, a sudden question was heard. At the untimely suddenness, Jiseo tilted his head and answered.
“Out of nowhere? In what situation.”
“When sleeping. I’m curious how you’d accept it as an action that reveals the feelings I have for you, hyung.”
“All your actions are fulfilling personal motives. Aren’t they?”
“To sleep comfortably in a cramped bed, bodies touch. That’s why I’m asking.”
“The bed isn’t that cramped, so don’t think other thoughts and hurry up and sleep.”
The expectation that they’d just sleep was splendidly missed. It seemed the reason for suggesting sleeping together was to fulfill personal motives anyway.
Accepting what Yeongwon wanted itself seemed to betray his own firm resolution. So Jiseo turned his back without giving any answer.
“Don’t change the topic like a baby. Hm? You have to answer the question.”
“Arms overlapping is okay. You’re so skinny I wonder if I’ll even feel the weight.”
“No, I’m pretty heavy too. Want to feel it?”
As if waiting, Yeongwon pressed his body close to Jiseo’s side, then placed his arm parallel on top of his arm. This must have been the original purpose.
As much as there was a height difference, the length of arms and legs had to be much longer for Jiseo than Yeongwon.
After seeming to ponder for a moment, Yeongwon lowered his head, which had been placed parallel, to Jiseo’s shoulder. Then he naturally placed his hand, which had been positioned around his wrist, overlapping with Jiseo’s hand.
In that state, Yeongwon didn’t do anything. He just remained overlapped, moving stealthily, and finally raised his head onto Jiseo’s shoulder.
Naturally, it was a position half-leaning on his body. Of course, it wasn’t affectionate since he wasn’t embracing with his arm, but it was warm.
“I’m going to sleep. Hurry and sleep too, hyung.”
Whether awake or asleep, it didn’t matter, but it seemed to contain the silent meaning not to move since he wanted to stay like this. No matter how you look at it, throwing a tantrum is acting exactly his age, but Yeongwon himself doesn’t seem to realize it.
Even at the obvious lie, since it wasn’t something to react much to, Jiseo just stayed quiet. Originally, cute kids’ feet often go numb.
“Let me borrow the shoulder I like but haven’t been able to touch.”
It was a standard that only applied to Yeongwon, but as expected, Yeongwon suddenly spilled his inner thoughts as if stabbed alone. Even so, as if he still had something to say, he opened his lips that had been tightly closed again.
“Hey, how far can I go with what I want to say to you, hyung, from now on?”
“If you have something to say, say it all. I’ll listen.”
“The level?”
“What?”
“I’ll ask boldly. The level?”
His voice wasn’t usually that loud, but the suddenly louder voice clearly conveyed the distinct expression.
First of all, the first impression Jiseo felt was bewilderment. Not only was it sudden, but the question itself wasn’t ordinary.
“Why do you need a level?”
“It’s necessary, we’re emotionally involved and of age. We know everything we need to know, so is there a reason to hold back expression?”
“We’re not in any relationship yet. We’re in a relationship with absolutely no emotional exchange, so what…… If I understood what that means correctly, what are you trying to say to hyung?”
“Okay, not okay. Just tell me that.”
“Not okay. Don’t let it become a habit. There are things you need to be careful about right away too.”
“Worried I might say strange things to baby anytime, anywhere?”
“……”
“You should’ve done something to talk about it. Fine, let’s sleep.”
Maybe Yeongwon brought up this talk to provoke me. At times like this, not having a conversation was the right choice.
“I’ll lend you my shoulder. Sleep quietly.”
When he patted his shoulder as a meaning to refuse Yeongwon’s words, the small head obediently followed. It seemed Yeongwon had also just blurted it out as it came to mind. So he’d add a greeting as if nothing happened.
“Sleep well, baby.”
He hadn’t meant to provoke Yeongwon, but his hand that reached out without knowing it roughly rubbed his hair and then leisurely left. He couldn’t help it at all because the greeting with a deliberately raised voice was cute.
It was really an action that came out without knowing, but Jiseo didn’t think much of it. Because it was that everyday of an action.
“I can’t live, really. Baby, I told you to just sleep……”
“Hyung is going to sleep now too, so you too don’t say anything and quickly……”
I thought I’d wrapped it up well, but Yeongwon’s unexpected action briefly tied up Jiseo’s limbs.
Yeongwon swept Jiseo’s hair back as he pleased with absurdly skilled hand movements.
If he himself had carelessly rubbed his hair, Yeongwon’s was a touch that affectionately arranged it. Then at some point, without him knowing, it came over and gently caressed his cheek before disappearing.
“Touching hair and touching cheeks are the same.”
Although he made completely different skinship and treated it as the same grade as if nothing happened, the inner meaning was different. To anyone’s eyes, it was no different from hurriedly defending himself worried he might get scolded.
Jiseo just passed the laughter inwardly and didn’t say anything. But soon he changed his mind.
“Try it once.”
“What?”
“Level remarks. Do it. Try it on hyung.”
There were actions he shouldn’t do to not violate his resolution, but because Yeongwon was cute making excuses while being conscious for no reason, he wanted to poke at him once without knowing. Anyway, since he has no experience, he’s probably saying things without knowing anything.
And Yeongwon probably didn’t have the courage to make suggestive expressions to his face. It’s just talk. Even if it’s not just talk, when he actually tries it, it’ll probably be nothing special.
“You’ve never slept with a guy, right, hyung? I wonder if you know anything.”
“……”
“Should I say more from here?”
“……”
“Actually, what I really want to say is something else, but I’m wondering whether baby won’t be surprised even if I go beyond this level.”
“Okay. Stop and hurry up and sleep.”
As soon as Yeongwon opened his mouth, at the remarks that were about to pour out as if nothing happened, Jiseo waved his hand for the first time. He didn’t properly hear anything, but first there was no hesitation. At this rate, it seemed like he’d cause an accident.
I wonder where he picked up the story that seemed like it would pour out as if waiting, and on one hand, Jiseo, who looked at Yeongwon again, was relieved. It was because, whether it was deliberately prepared words, Yeongwon’s face had also turned like a well-ripened radish.
“You and hyung shouldn’t have this kind of talk, Yeongwon.”
At the premonition that there might be a situation where he’d make Yeongwon cry, Jiseo took a step back first.
“Sorry if I surprised you, baby.”
Of course, Yeongwon didn’t seem to think at all that it was words for his sake. Jiseo let out a deflated laugh without Yeongwon knowing.
This round was definitely a match of boldness. In that aspect, Jiseo thought Yeongwon had a bolder side than himself.
However, from the point that he himself couldn’t carelessly do such things, Jiseo made it clear again that he was looking out for Yeongwon.
‘……Like there’s not even a hair on him.’
Looking at Yeongwon secretly fanning his face with his hand, Jiseo burst out a hollow laugh.
