Problem

It wasn’t a fantasy—it was real.

Jeong Minha rushed over with his luggage bag and asked.

“How did you get here?! I was just going to take the bus since hyung would be working…!”

Then Seo Sihan took his luggage bag and answered.

“Sorry, I missed you so much that I just came… Can’t we ride together in the car?”

Jeong Minha was about to say “I can carry it myself,” but hearing Seo Sihan’s words, he turned his head away in embarrassment.

In the past, when Seo Sihan would leave work early and come find him, Minha had thought maybe work at the company was relaxed. But living together with Seo Sihan, he’d realized the truth. It just meant Sihan would work remotely from home until late at night instead.

Having gone through a crisis at the selection match because of Seo Sihan, Jeong Minha wanted to give Seo Sihan’s arm a light smack as soon as they got home. But seeing how he’d even postponed work to wait for him like this, that thought completely vanished.

Especially since he got cold so easily—how long had he been waiting outside? In the end, Jeong Minha couldn’t hold back his true feelings and hugged Seo Sihan with both arms.

“Minha…?”

Since Seo Sihan was 9cm taller than the 177cm Jeong Minha, it ended up looking like Minha was being held, but that wasn’t what mattered right now.

“……”

I missed you too. I missed you so much that I even heard hallucinations during the match. I almost failed because of it, but I barely won because I wanted to hang a gold medal around hyung’s neck. Isn’t it really funny how I was in danger because of hyung but also succeeded because of hyung?

He barely swallowed down the true feelings trying to burst out. He picked out only other things that were okay to convey.

“I’m hungry and I have no strength……”

As Jeong Minha’s legs gave out and he slid down in Seo Sihan’s arms, Seo Sihan immediately lifted Minha back up.

“I knew you didn’t eat properly. Let’s go eat now.”

Of course, Jeong Minha had eaten just fine while at the lodging. It was just that he kept getting hungry from exercising all day long.

And actually, just now his strength hadn’t given out because he was hungry. It had been fine when he hugged Seo Sihan, but when Sihan also hugged him back and patted his back, he was so surprised that his strength gave out.

* * *

After safely finishing the selection match, Jeong Minha had a new problem.

‘I have… no money.’

If Seo Sihan heard this, he would have been shocked. He’d paid off all the debt and hospital bills, provided unlimited food, clothing, and shelter, given cash at the beginning, and besides that, was always ready to give money saying to ask for anything he wanted anytime.

However, Jeong Minha currently had no money he could actually spend.

During vacation it had been fine. He was always at home where delicious food would appear. Besides that, Seo Sihan would always buy him clothes, game consoles, and such as gifts without being asked.

Since everything he needed was at home, Jeong Minha absolutely didn’t spend the money Seo Sihan had given him directly. People have to have a conscience—when he’d already received more than enough, how could he freely spend the transferred money too? Originally, Jeong Minha had been asking for his account number from before, saying he would return the money. And Seo Sihan had smiled and not told him.

“…You said to tell you anything I want, right? What I want is hyung’s account number. Please tell me.”

“But… if I tell you, you’ll give it back.”

“What? Of course. It’s too much.”

“Then just keep holding onto it.”

Though he’d grant any other request normally, Seo Sihan wouldn’t budge on this one thing alone. Dumbfounded, Jeong Minha grumbled “Fine, then I’ll just save it in the account and pile up tons of interest before returning it to you,” and gave up.

So Jeong Minha really did make a separate account. The money he first received at the cafe, the money transferred from the company, the money hyung kept transferring saying it was for peace of mind—he gathered it all, put it in, and locked it. It was a non-withdrawal account.

And so, back to the present…….

‘I can’t… withdraw it……’

He was slightly regretting not leaving just a few hundred thousand won.

Unlike when he was at home, going to school required money to buy meals. But he couldn’t ask Seo Sihan for money again, so during March he managed with the part-time job money remaining in his existing account.

And in April, after finishing the selection match. Jeong Minha despaired in the school cafeteria over his check card showing insufficient balance.

“……”

In the end, that evening while eating with Seo Sihan, he carefully brought it up.

“…Hyung.”

“Hm?”

“What would be a way to reverse an account that’s been locked so you can’t withdraw money….”

Jeong Minha had said it as indirectly as possible, but Seo Sihan caught on immediately.

“Minha…. Don’t tell me you put all the money I gave you to spend in there?”

“…N-no?”

“What did you eat for lunch today?”

“……I just ate fine.”

“What money did you use when you went to the competition?”

“That also went fine……”

For reference, Jeong Minha was bad at lying. His expression and tone were all awkward.

As Jeong Minha avoided eye contact, Seo Sihan immediately picked up his phone.

“Ah, wait! You can’t!”

Jeong Minha blocked with his hand what was clearly a transfer screen on the phone.

“Is it burdensome even when I give you money to buy food?”

“Hyung’s minimum transfer unit is like ten million won.”

“…Then how much would work.”

“Wow. Using that line in this situation is really funny.”

“……?”

“Um…. If you just give me ten thousand won a day… I’d be grateful? School meals are roughly……”

“……”

Jeong Minha worked hard calculating and telling him the necessary expenses, but Seo Sihan listened half-heartedly with a displeased expression. Having directly witnessed Jeong Minha’s incredible meal portions while living together during vacation, there was no way a mere ten thousand won would cover it.

What if situations suddenly came up where money was needed? Seo Sihan wanted to press the transfer button right away. But even if he did, it seemed like Jeong Minha would just put most of it in the non-withdrawal account again. The problem was he was too kind.

“…Do whatever you want, Minha.”

Seo Sihan handed the phone to Jeong Minha with the transfer screen still open. When Minha asked “How much can this go up to?” he said with brief hope that any amount was fine.

Having obtained the chaebol’s account with the password unlocked, Jeong Minha entered numbers.

“Then just this much for now. Thank you.”

Jeong Minha returned the phone and stood up to clear away his finished rice bowl.

Seeing the notification that fifty thousand won had been transferred on his phone, Seo Sihan was speechless.

* * *

The next morning. After arriving at school, Jeong Minha opened his bag and discovered an unfamiliar item. As soon as he checked what it was, he immediately contacted Seo Sihan.

**Hyung 10:15**

There’s some black card in my bag

Is this yours? 10:16

It’s yours, use it however you want 10:18

“…Aha.”

If cash is burdensome, use a card? It was such a chaebol-like thought that he could only laugh emptily.

Lately, everything hyung did made his heart pound so much, but when he saw him giving money like this, his heart calmed down like when they first met. No, not calm—it was just scary. He’d resolved to pay it all back, but since he kept giving, it felt like the debt in his heart kept growing.

So originally, he’d planned to manage with the fifty thousand won he received yesterday while looking for a way to unlock the account. But when things went this far, he had nothing to say.

Then I’ll use just a little bit on my own 10:20

Eat well ㅠ 10:21

Since the person giving money looked more desperate, Jeong Minha ultimately surrendered. Fine, I’ll show you how I absolutely raid a convenience store today. Don’t regret it. Making a declaration of war in his heart, he valiantly entered the convenience store during his free period.

“Customer, this card won’t process.”

“What?”

Jeong Minha, who had piled up food like a mountain at the counter, asked back with a bewildered look.

“Why… why not?”

“As soon as I tried to process it, it says the card has been stopped.”

“…I’m really sorry. Can I make a call? Please don’t put these back….”

“Ah, yes….”

Having happily swept food into his basket only to be told no by the card, Jeong Minha immediately called Seo Sihan. The ringtone didn’t last long.
