Tender by Chance, Affectionate by Chance 32

The place where he met Yoon Wiseung and Jang Hyeonjun was at a time when it felt like a completely different world from where Wooyeon lived. It was noisy with people drinking and yelling loudly, groups of people rushing into clubs, and people lining up in front of other clubs waiting.

“Oh. Hyung, you look so cool today.”

“Totally.”

Jang Hyeonjun commented on Wooyeon’s outfit, and Yoon Wiseung chimed in. At some point, the way they addressed him had changed from sunbae to hyung. He seemed to be quite sociable.

“Do you dress like this when you go to school too?”

Wooyeon didn’t answer and just smiled awkwardly. They seemed to have their regular spots, as they asked Wooyeon if this place was okay in a perfunctory manner and got in line at the entrance.

Wooyeon naturally nodded. He had no idea which places were good. The line moved quickly, and as soon as they entered, they got on an elevator going up.

When the elevator stopped at the floor where the club was, loud music echoed all the way to the ticket booth. Watching Jang Hyeonjun stick his head into the window to buy entrance tickets, Wooyeon fiddled with the money in his pocket for no reason. There’s an entrance fee too. He hadn’t even thought about that.

“Wow, jackpot!”

Jang Hyeonjun distributed the three tickets he had received to Yoon Wiseung and Wooyeon while shouting.

“Wooyeon hyung’s entrance is free!”

“Huh?”

“Hyung, it’s free! They didn’t charge you because you’re handsome!”

Before he knew it, Wooyeon received the ticket and free drink voucher from Hyeonjun. Either way, it was really fortunate that there wasn’t an unexpected expense. Wiseung grumbled that he’d never gotten that kind of treatment.

After handing their tickets to the guard and entering inside, Wooyeon saw a scene he’d never witnessed before.

Jang Hyeonjun and Yoon Wiseung roared as they entered into the noisy electronic music. Though they had brought him along, they actually seemed to have little interest in Wooyeon. Wooyeon hesitated and was pushed around here and there, buffeted by the crowd.

“This one.”

Pushed all the way to the bar, Wooyeon chose one item from the menu on the table and told the bartender. His voice couldn’t be heard well because of the loud music, but the bartender perceptively nodded and took the free drink voucher from Wooyeon. The free drink Wooyeon ordered was cheap vodka mixed with carbonated water, and it tasted sweet with whatever else was added to it. Wooyeon leaned against the bar and tilted the glass filled with ice, sipping the drink.

His ears rang from the loudly playing music, and the flashy lights were dazzling. Still, Wooyeon thought he somewhat understood why people came here. There was a strange sense of liberation in the scenery and atmosphere so different from reality. As he tilted his head back to swallow the last of the drink along with the ice, someone tapped his arm. Wooyeon turned his head to look at him.

“Did you come alone?”

A man was leaning against the bar table next to Wooyeon, drinking. He wasn’t as tall as Kwon Jeonghan, but he was on the tall side, and had a physique that suggested he exercised regularly. His hair was slicked back with pomade and he had an overall neat appearance, but somehow he didn’t give Wooyeon a favorable impression.

“No.”

Wooyeon answered and shook his head. He might not have heard his voice, but even though he shook his head, whether the man didn’t understand or not, he leaned close to Wooyeon and brought his ear near.

“I came with friends!”

When Wooyeon finally shouted into the man’s ear, he finally made an expression showing he understood and nodded. Every time the man leaned toward Wooyeon, there was a strong smell of perfume. Under the flashy lights, the man’s face was mottled. Though it was a sweet drink, it must have been quite strong because his vision blurred.

“I got a table, let’s have a drink together there!”

“What?”

“Let’s have a drink together!”

Wooyeon put down the glass with only ice remaining on the bar table and frowned. Even in his intoxication, he couldn’t understand. Why would a man ask him to drink together……

“Let’s go!”

He smiled and grabbed Wooyeon’s wrist, moving locations.

The place the man dragged Wooyeon to through the crowd was the table he had reserved.

When the man forcibly sat Wooyeon at the table, Wooyeon staggered and almost collapsed as he sat down. Champagne and such were on the table, and the man seemed to have already drunk quite a lot.

The man picked one bottle from among several and poured it into a glass, then held it out to Wooyeon. Forcibly blinking his heavy eyelids, Wooyeon took the drink.

“Cheers!”

The man giggled and clinked his glass against the one Wooyeon was holding. As Wooyeon slowly blinked and gulped down the drink, the man, who had emptied his glass, came close to Wooyeon’s ear again and whispered.

“What do you do? Are you a student?”

Though they had only moved seats, the man was already speaking informally. Every time the man approached, his head seemed to hurt from the strong perfume smell. Without answering, Wooyeon stared blankly at the man, then tilted the glass again and swallowed the drink. It was a day when the alcohol went down particularly well.

“You drink well?”

“……”

“Want to leave after drinking some more?”

When Wooyeon’s glass emptied, the man smiled and poured more. Wooyeon couldn’t even guess what he meant by leaving. When Wooyeon didn’t answer and just drank, the man pulled his body close to sit near Wooyeon again and whispered in his ear.

“You’re so fucking hot. Huh?”

Suddenly the man’s hand came up onto Wooyeon’s thigh. Startled, Wooyeon dropped the glass he was holding and the unbroken glass rolled onto the floor. Wooyeon reflexively stood up from the sofa and looked at the man. The floor sloshed with spilled alcohol.

“You’re an omega, aren’t you?”

The man said with a fishy smile while resting his chin on the table. This time he hadn’t even shouted, yet it reached Wooyeon’s ears clearly without being buried by the loud music.

Wooyeon staggered for a moment, then immediately turned around and rushed out of the table area. He had to run away—he seemed to feel it instinctively.

It was when Wooyeon had barely escaped from among the people packed into the club on Saturday night. As he was looking around from the edges of the club interior, searching for where the exit elevator was, in an instant Wooyeon’s body was slammed against the wall by a strong force.

“Ah!”

When he opened his eyes, he was behind the curtain that separated the corridor from the club. It seemed to be a passage leading to the bathroom.

It was obvious who had pushed him against the wall. The drunk man was grinning at Wooyeon. Whether he had chased after Wooyeon to find him, he was breathing heavily from his mouth. When Wooyeon pressed against the wall trying to escape, the man grabbed Wooyeon’s hair and made him look at him. Fear swam in Wooyeon’s eyes as he looked up at the man.

“Fuck, you think you’re a rabbit after drinking that much on my tab?”

“Let… let go!”

“You’re an omega, right, you crazy bitch?”

The man’s eyes were already not in his right mind. Wooyeon breathed heavily while his hair was grabbed by the man. The man grabbed Wooyeon’s shirt with his other hand and then pulled hard to rip it. As buttons flew in all directions and the front of the shirt became tattered, the man laughed through his throat.

Ignoring Wooyeon’s resistance, the man stuck his hand toward Wooyeon’s nape. Soon the man’s hand flipped up the back collar of Wooyeon’s shirt to check the label.

“I thought I’d seen you somewhere.”

On the tag at the back of the neck was engraved the name of the luxury brand that had been distributed to omegas at the Night of Sponsorship. Wooyeon’s eyes wavered.

“I was disappointed I couldn’t have you then, and now I see you again like this.”

It felt like snakes were crawling all over his body. With the sudden nausea and dizziness, Wooyeon’s legs swayed and he leaned against the wall. Beyond the curtain, the noisy music, people’s shouts, and vibrations still resonated. The man’s giggling laughter could be heard. His vision blurred.

“Looks like the drug is kicking in?”

The man embraced Wooyeon’s weakening body and began rubbing his lower body against him. When the man’s erect lower body touched his body, Wooyeon felt like retching and turned his head. His head hurt from the strong smell close by. When the man lifted the chin of Wooyeon, who could barely keep his eyes narrowly open, trying to kiss him, Wooyeon shook his head to avoid his lips.

“……Don’t, ugh……”

The hand roughly gripping Wooyeon’s chin fixed Wooyeon’s face and finally crashed his lips against him. As his lips and mouth were crushed indiscriminately, Wooyeon tried to push the man’s shoulder but couldn’t put strength into his arms.

“Mmph, ugh, mm!”

“Hah, ha……”

The man’s tongue forcibly digging in was disgusting. The man greedily licked Wooyeon’s lips, then stuck his tongue into Wooyeon’s mouth again.

“……Urk! Fuck!”

The man pulled his lips away from Wooyeon and fell back, covering his own lips with his hand. The man, whose tongue had been bitten by Wooyeon, looked at his bloody palm and mercilessly struck Wooyeon’s face with his palm. With a thud, Wooyeon’s body collapsed onto the club floor.

“Is this fucking bitch crazy? Biting my tongue?”

After being slapped by the man, it felt like his head was ringing too. Wooyeon couldn’t even get up and just dry-heaved while collapsed on the floor. Even in the midst of this, he felt heat rising in his body as if he was going into a heat cycle. It seemed the man had drugged the alcohol.

“Oh my!”

At that moment, several women who had lifted the curtain looking for the bathroom screamed at the sight of Wooyeon and the man. As the women murmured and went to find a guard, the man muttered curses and grabbed Wooyeon’s hair again to pull him up.
